This is the first facial oil I’ve purchase that claimed to have brightening properties.
I’ve have since used half of the bottle. It works well to hydrate the skin, but I haven’t seen any brightening of the complexion.
It works well on lazy nights when I just want to sleep without fussing over my nightly skincare routine.
I use this alone on those night. It absorbs well and leaves my skin nicely moisturised. It can also be mixed with moisturisers, and I do this when i want my moisturisers to feel a tad richer.
Occasionally, when I want my foundation to look more dewy, I’ll use a drop of this mixed together with my foundation, or patted over it. It works well. So far, it is ‘compatible’ with all my foundations.
I can’t quite describe the smell. It is stronger than my favourite Boots Botanics organic facial oil.
This one is more floral while Boots is more citrusy,
The following is the list of ingredients from
Ingredients
Manuka Oil, Argan Oil, Tamanu Oil, Avocado Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Sunflower Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Ricebran Oil, Seabuckthorn Oil, Cranberry Seed Oil, Neroli Oil and Vitamin E.
I could use this as a regular facial oil for lazy nights, however I still prefer the lighter citrusy smell of Boots Botanics over this floral smell.
If I’m looking for a facial oil that brightens the skin, I’ll rather use The Ordinary Alpha Lipoic Acid. That one transforms my skin just after a night.
