This is one of four powder masks in the range.
– Matcha Madness
– Mind Over Mate

The powder is to be mixed with water to form a paste and then applied onto cleansed skin. But I usually mix mine with La Roche Posay facial water mist for the extra benefits. When water/ facial water mist is added to the powder, the mixture bubbles.
This powder is green in color and has a very earthy smell.
It smells natural – like the smell of the grassy muddy patch after a rain.
There are specks (tea flakes, I think) in the paste that helps with exfoliation when the dried mask is washed off.
When used on its own, this mask cleans the skin very well.
Recently, I added a small scoop of The Ordinary’s L-Ascorbic powder to this powder to form a paste for masking. After washing off the dried mask, my skin looked a tad brighter as well as cleaner. Caution is recommended when using the L-Ascorbic powder – too much of it can cause a sting.
Overall, this is a nice mask that I’ll repurchase.
I like the idea of being able to customise my masks to suit my skin according to needs.
