   I’ve used SO much box dye in my life, I swear some of them are excellent. Some are even better than salon dye as long as you’re not looking for a drastic change in color or a particular vibrant shade. Heck, i’ve even used dye from Hofer once that did it’s job just fine.

   This isn’t one of those dyes, for me.

   Firstly, the packaging is impractical because you need a bowl to mix the dye and developer. Usually there’s room in the developer bottle to squeeze dye into, shake, and apply, easier in comparison to this. It’s a minor inconvenience, but still. The conditioner is meh, but I don’t care.

   Secondly, it came out uneven. Wasn’t too worried because I’m brown haired, using brown dye, and usually a patchy dye evens out okay after a couple of washes, but with a more vibrant shade it could be quite a fail.

   Thirdly, unimpressive gray coverage. Sure it’s not advertised as being great at covering grays, but it really could’ve done better. The only reason I use dye in the first place is to cover grays, so this whole process was kinda futile.

   Four, it left my hair very very dry, noticeably so (it was fine before).

   There are a few pros to it.
   It’s not one of those that smells so bad upon application it has you and your entire family coughing, choking and opening all the windows. It didn’t irritate my scalp at all. It didn’t drip in the slightest. It washed off easily- some dyes you have to rinse forever but this was a no fuss wash. The scent could’ve been worse, and it didn’t linger as long as some do.

   Wouldn’t repurchase or recommend as it’s very drying and performs poorly.

   WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!>:[
   I usually use the loreal hair dye, but I decided to try something new, so I went with Garnier in the color Medium Burgandy Brown (i think…something like that). Well the color didn’t turn out too red which is a good thing i guess, if you are looking for a dye that is dark reddish-brown. However, just a simple squeeze caused the bottle to CRACK IN HALF! In addition my face started itching and turned red. THAT EMBARRASSING MARK LASTED FOR DAYS until I went to the doctor’s. NEVER AGAIN
   ..and I was excited for the free coupon too..:'(

   This is hair magic, not color. My hair was falling out crazily after using L’Oreal Casting Creme Gloss for the second time. It was dull, dry and straw like. I read the reviews on Garnier Nutrisse here and thought I’d give this one a try.

   The color itself is supposedly infused with olive oil, not sure if that’s true or not, but whatever’s in there is working!

   I bought this in #5 Light Brown and it gave me a gorgeous neutral brown and took out all the harsh reds in my hair. The color turns out a tad darker than on the box , but its very rich and glossy. It really revitalized my hair it stopped falling so excessively.

   Zero itching. Very tolerable smell that fades within a day.

   I have just below shoulder length fine hair and I used an entire box. So if you have thick or long hair make sure you have enough product. I think this is due to the mixture’s consistency being more on the creamy side rather than the runny side.

   Amazing conditioner, again with olive oil, with a heavenly smell. Left my hair very soft and tangle-free.

   I’m in love with this…It beats all other brands I tried and will definitely repurchase. I know it is hard to believe that a hair color can make your hair better. One week ago I thought its ridiculous, now I don’t!

   UPDATE: I’m here just to re-confirm how fabulous this is. Three months now since I used this and the color is pretty much the same! Been using this along with Garnier’s Color Save shampoo, some random daily conditioner and Shwarzkopf Bonacure Hair Therapy Color Save mask every other week. Definitely HG!
