   am combination skin and this is my go to when things go wrong outside the T-zone. it’s a good all-rounder too. Perfect for winter, I treat the oily zone with this too (guess what, my nose and around would still go flaky, what a malarchy). i put it under the eyes when make up removal makes it iffy, or handcream. yes,, it is thick but it is a small inconvenience in exchange for the effect.

   I’ve been using this now for several months. This one is a bit thicker and richer than the Lavera Neutral Baby (Kinder) Cream (though that comes in a larger tube and is therefore cheaper).

   As others say, this is quite thick and somewhat sticky, though it DOES sink in if you give it a bit. I don’t use all over my face, but only on very dry and/or irritated patches (I am prone to eczema). If I gloop a bit on dry patches and allow to sink in for about 5 minutes, makeup goes on much better and smoother.

   I have ridiculously sensitive skin, especially rashy patches, and this doesn’t annoy it. For me, this works better than Toleriane Riche cream (LaRoche Posay) and is cheaper.

   I absolutely love this cream. I love that it is gooey and hard to spread, and boy does it calm down dry, aggravated skin. I am able to wear makeup on my cheeks with good results for the first time in a long time (meaning it’s not all flaky before lunch).
   It’s the best natural moisturizer for really dry, sensitive skin. That is all. Bring it on winter.

   My first week using this product and it has completely changed the texture of my face. It transformed my winter wrecked, eczema prone face smooth, soft and dewy. I will definitely purchase this product again, but will look for a cheaper deal online.

   This is a dense cream, suitable for use pretty much anywhere on dry, sensitive skin. It’s fragrance-free, not tested on animals, and (if this is a concern) many of the ingredients are organic. A water in oil emulsion, its main ingredients are glycerin, shea butter, and olive, evening primrose, and jojoba oils. One of Lavera’s classic products, an oldie but a goodie.

   I’ve used it off and on for years; I used to use it as a face cream in very cold winter weather (Germany, the Alps, north-eastern U.S.). It’s also good as a night eye-cream – hence cross-posting of this review.

   A good buy: as it’s so dense, it lasts for a very long time. The formulae of various products in the Lavera Neutral range are quite closely related. For instance, the Intensive Body Lotion is rather like the Face Cream, and would almost be interchangeable except it’s physically too heavy to dot around the eye area. So if you don’t want to use this as an eye cream but as a general-purpose natural-but-sensitive moisturizer, the Intensive is a good buy (200 ml and 2 euros more). I am also fond of the Face Fluid (see review) for more usual weather conditions: currently using it and Avene’s Skin Recovery Cream.
