I love this product. I have used this exclusively for over 25 years. I tried others, & did not like them at all, both more expensive & less expensive ones. Please do not discontinue this. It is not greasy & it removes all my waterproof mascara with a cotton pad, and leaves a nice non-greasy feel on my eyelids. Also is perfect for any makeup touchups especially with liquid eyeliner using a q-tip.

I am happy that I found a sample in a GWP offered through some retailer (I’ve bought so many over the years..). I was very interested in trying this product but the price made me hesitate. It works about as well as some micellar waters available in the drug store. I like that it does not feel oily, and it does not burn or irritate my eyes, but honestly the almay makeup remover pads do about as much or more. For this price I expected a little better.

Works fine. Doesn’t sting the eye. Not oil base. But for the price, I wouldn’t mind oil based ones which obviously works better – Maybelline/Loreal eye lip makeup remover.
Tolerated a whole bottle of this simply because I paid a lot for it and the packaging is prettier than the drugstore ones.

Sad news. This stuff pretty much sucks. I recieved this as a gwp and I am still disappointed! This doesn’t work well at all.
Thankful it doesn’t sting and that it’s unscented, but this is only marginally better than water? I’m not even talking about waterproof mascara here, just regular eye makeup.
$24 for 4 oz. of this is insane. I have been soaking my rounds and not seeing much removal.
I will be glad to see the end of this 2 oz. Gwp size I have and to back to my Garnier micellar. More effective, more product, much cheaper.

I love this makeup remover. I know it’s expensive, that is definitely what I thought at first, but I’ve been using my bottle for almost 2 months and it’s barely half empty. When I would buy the Garnier micelluar water makeup remover it will only last a month. That’s why I’m so surprised that this Clinique makeup remover lasts so long. It’s definitely the best makeup remover I’ve ever used. I’ve use Avon, Mary Kay, benefit, Neutrogena, ect but never had a makeup remover work so well. And I wear a ton of makeup! And you only need a small amount on a face rounds because it “lathers” up, I know that sounds weird, but it does. You do have to rub a little bit, but I’ve never had a makeup remover that I didn’t have to rub.
I’m changing my review. Philosophy makeup remover is way better!

This product gave me an allergic reaction to it. I woke up the next day and my eyes was twice as big as it usually is. My eye itched, burned, sensitive to touch, and extremely swollen (I had to ice it to bring it down). Product is expensive and to have an allergic reaction to it, not worth it. Would not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin.

Terrible. Stings the hell out of my eyes. My HG eye makeup remover is the CVS brand one. Go figure!

This stuff makes my eyelids itchy and irritated for hours after I use it. I just can’t stand it. And it isn’t particularly good at makeup removal.
2 of my favourite Clinique cleansers and their other makeup remover ALL take makeup off better without irritation. The foaming facial cleanser in the pink tube and the green mild liquid soap. Then there is the awesome dual phase in the lavender bottle called Take the Day Off makeup remover. Any of which remove even long wearing stuff without issues.
This keeps coming in the gwp promotions and I keep trying it hoping for a different result thinking maybe my skin changed, maybe this stuff improved. NAH, it hasn’t, I haven’t and I’m writing the review to remind myself that yes I tried it, LOTS of times and it’s always hard on my poor aging lids leaving them red and itchy and irritated.

I love the purple bottle “take the day off” line from Clinique. My local Sephora didn’t have that in stock so I opted to try out this product instead. I don’t care for this at all.
I wear a lot of waterproof, long wearing makeup. This makeup didn’t even budge any of my eye makeup off, even when the cotton pad was soaked.
Would not repurchase.

Most micellar beat this, too much rubbing is required. When i dip a cotton tip in this and attempt to clean up any eye make up mishaps, nothing happens. Not strong enough. I wouldn’t recommend this nor would i purchase again. If you get it as a freebie, its OK for travel but any cleansing oil would beat this by far. I liked the fact that it was fragrance free.
