I got this for only $3.60 on clearance at Ulta vs the $36 regular price. My skin was feeling extremely dry and even cracked and flaky/peeling a bit around my eyes and I was desperate. I used to have oily, acne-prone skin, but as I’ve gotten older it changed to normal and now maybe slightly dry, but never flaky or dry looking. However, I’m still prone to break out with the wrong products. I tried using it alone as a layer under moisturizer, but it was too oily and didn’t seem to absorb and seemed to cause blemishes. What is magic, however, is I put a single drop into my The Ordinary moisturizer in the morning and after a few minutes it sinks in beautifully, has a lovely rose scent, and after a month or so of use has evened my skin tone out (I have a bit of melasma, and some red spots from blemishes that never seemed to completely disappear) such that I can go without foundation, or use just tinted moisturizer with no concealer and my skin looks flawless. My skin also looks glowing and more radiant overall and the scaly/peeling skin is gone. I use Makeup artist choice lactic, Mandelic, and radiance peels, etc. and have not gotten results like that. I like this so much I’d repurchase at full price, but since I only use a drop, it will last forever (I’ve used 1/4 of it in 3-4 months) so that also makes it more cost effective. I’ve tried jojoba oil, grape seed oil, and Argan oil and they just seemed to break me out (argan) or not do too much (jojoba) so this is a real find. Not sure if pure rosehip oil would be the same as this also has vitamin E and a few other ingredients but it worked wonders for me.

I am a big fan of facial oils but this wasn’t one of my favorites for my skin. It was thick and just sat on top of my skin. I sometimes like to put a little oil under my concealer but this was way to greasy for that. I was using it before bed and would head to bed with my face looking like it was covered in Crisco, but in the morning, my skin would feel dried out. So overall, it was super greasy, yet wasn’t moisturizing my skin. I saw more wrinkles than I do normally because my skin was so dehydrated.
I went back to my Fresh Seaberry oil for winter and my skin looks and feels much better.

I actually found this in a basket of skin care stuff someone left on top of our recycling dumpster! Most things were sealed, including a pack of towelettes. I grabbed some items, including this. It looked expensive from the packaging. It’s not something I’d buy new for myself, and I never even heard of the brand. I wanted to see what the fuss about facial oils is about. I was sure it would be some greasy mess!
Not so…1 or 2 drops is all you need to make your skin soft and smooth. I’ve used it around the lines under my eyes, on my forehead, and at the corners of my mouth. I let it sink it, then apply moisturizer and make up. The oil smooths out my lines and seems to minimize my foundation “settling” into my lines. I’ve been using it daily for over 5 months now, and I’d definitely recommend it to someone. It is just part of my morning routine, since nobody sees my skin while I’m sleeping, LOL. I’m 56 with dry skin, lines, and lots of spots. 🙁 The fragrance is subtle, kind of citrusy-pine like. Be careful not to tip the bottle over, as it’s pretty easy to do.
Only reason I wouldn’t get it again is because of the price. I wouldn’t pay that much for any cosmetic.
I like that the bottle is clear so you can see how much you have left though.

I’m enjoying this quite a bit. I have sensitive acne prone skin. I’ve been playing around with different ways to apply this but so far my favorite is 2-3 drops after my moisturizer at night.
I’ve noticed a brighter, glowy, more even tone, slightly less oily, no breakouts.
I love the packaging, easy to control dropper. I bought it on sale.. it is kind of expensive, would buy again after trying a cheaper rosehip seed oil

Had been reading about products with rosehips being helpful for dry, aging skin. Not too many out there. Price is not outrageous, glass bottle, but because smaller sizer, and a stopper, very manageable. Not like large bottles of essences, that don’t seem safe for bathroom use. Upon application, skin get a little red. As products sinks in, remains a tad sticky. Give at least 5 minutes for that process. Use CeraVe daytime lotion with SPF over it. Then a primer, and makeup looks quite dewy. Scent did take some getting used to, as find some skin cream products offensive. This does dissipate.~~~
