I’ve used CW02 Fair in this line on and off for years, and the thing I love most about that shade is how pigmented and blendable it is. However, what works for a skin-toned concealer doesn’t necessarily work for a color corrector. The green is also very pigmented and a little does go a long way, but I can never seem to blend it out enough to hide it under a layer of foundation. This wasn’t a big issue when I was using full-coverage foundation, but since I’ve gone back to light-to-medium coverage, I think a more sheer formula will be my best bet.

i don’t use this as a corrector, it doesn’t serve that purpose well. it’s way too white-based for that, and the green is very conspicuous under anything but full-coverage foundation/concealer (which, if you’re going to go that route, why even color correct at all??)
i used to use this as a mixer for my other NYX concealers. the ones i’ve tried oxidized VERY orange, which is okay for the undereye area imo, but i use concealers for spot concealing exclusively. without this i can’t wear any of the skin-colored shades. but with this mixed in, the orange is muted significantly and the concealers become much more wearable!
i don’t really like NYX concealers anymore so i haven’t picked up another one of these, but i would if i ever needed to again in the future. it worked really well.

I LOVE this concealer! I’ve done color correction on others back when I worked as a makeup artist. I had never used it on myself, because I had perfect skin up til just this year. For reference I’m 32, very fair and cool, with normal/dry skin, slightly textured around my cheeks and almost no wrinkles. In the last few years the skin across my cheeks and nose has taken on a pink color, despite rigorous sunscreen use. I came to the conclusion that I might benefit from a color corrector. I tried a few green primers with no luck, be it from the drugstore or the department store. They just weren’t a strong enough green to handle my slightly pink areas. After looking around at a few different green concealers, I chose this one, as I’m never disappointed with NYX. They are the king of drugstore makeup. This stuff is a strong mint green color, so I was fairly certain it would tackle my skin woe. And does it ever! I apply this before I use my foundation using the doe foot wand to dot a tiny bit across my pink areas. I blend very well using a small concealer brush, but I use my fingers in a patting motion to thin it out and really melt it into my skin. The texture of this stuff is fantastic, thick but not so much I can’t blend it out; spreads very easy. My foundation glides right over it and completely covers the green, and my foundation is a sheer to medium formula. This gives me doll skin, which I thought I’d never achieve in my life ever again. If you’re searching for a product that actually covers any redness, look no further. You have found it. I will never be without this again!

Very very hard to blend. But good coverage greats for women with Rosacea. I just it on my mother who suffers from chronic rosacea I use this product to neutralize the redness. But it is hard to blend. I believe this is a dupe for the Lancôme green color corrector ($35) vs 5 or 6$

Bought this because I was on a budget & had used NYX products before with no issues. The product doesn’t blend into the skin well at ALL, & I had to put 3 layers of foundation over the areas until the green stopped showing through. After this, I will gladly spend the extra money on the L’Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier green BB Cream like I always had in the past.
What a waste of money.

Background: I’ve rosacea and few hormonal blemishes from time to time.
I bought this concealer to color correct the redness on my cheeks from rosacea and for a few blemishes. I can’t use this to either of these problems.
But I’ve to tell that not all the shades from this concealer have the same formula. The problems that I had with the green aren’t the same as the other colors.
This concealer is so pigmented and it doesn’t let you blend the product at all and you end up having a green patch on your skin which looks much worst that the redness.
Besides being very difficult to blend this product with a brush or beauty blender, it becomes patchy and drying and when you apply foundation or concealer on top the product will grab on the concealer and it’d look horrible as well.
And because I had such hard time blending this, I end up with areas that the redness would still be very visible and others that look patchy etc.

I want to like this… the colour is okay, but sometimes showed through my foundation if I applied it to a dry blemish. Also, the packaging broke when I was only part way through it. I think the dry formula would be good for highlighting, but it’s not good for acne.

Oh my gosh! How can this stuff be so cheap and so good? I am quite fair, and without makeup, I have the red cheeks of a drunken Irishman. I’m basically like Santa Claus. I tried the NYX green primer, and it helped, but I wanted to step up my makeup game. So I got the green HD concealer wand. I use my Paula’s Choice primer, then a few dabs of the NYX green HD concealer on my red cheeks. I blend it in with my fluffy concealer brush, and holy moly, I look pretty good. It neutralizers the redness. I use a Paula’s Choice liquid foundation and then NARS concealer on top, and then seal the deal with some finishing powder. My skin has never, ever looked so even and uniformly ivory.
It does not take much of this concealer, and you need to blend it well. But, my word, it really works. And the price! Wow!

This product has great coverage and works really well under foundation because it doesn’t rub off a blemish while I’m putting on foundation. Unfortunately, it makes me break out really bad. If I use it to cover an existing spot, the next day I will have another pimple or two in that location the next day. Super frustrating because this actually works really well. If you’re not acne prone, this is probably a great spot concealer!

I use it over primer and under foundation to neutralise redness. Dot it all over my face and then blend it out to neutralise everywhere. It works beautifully! I have slight olive undertones and most foundations are too pink on me. This concealer cancels out the redness in my skin (I have acne) and allows the foundation on top to look more natural. It also allows me to use less foundation. I love this concealer!
At the moment I’m using Revlon’s Colorstay oily/combination in 150 Buff, which has yellowish undertones. I add some yellow corrector (MUFE Chromatic Mix) to that and it looks like my skintone over the NYX green concealer. Without the concealer my face still looks too pink compared to my neck but with the concealer it matches my neck.
