Bought 2 of these. Gave them both away. I was really excited to try this. I found it based on a youtube review. I used it as a morning cleanser. It gave me a rash. It has lavender in it and that is known to be a skin sensitizer. The packaging is nice, glass bottle, sleek. I stopped using it and tried again a few days later. same thing, rash.

My face cleanser search is over. Yuli Halcyon is hands down the best green cleanser on the market: mild surfactant, low foam, no sensitizing essential oils, minimal scent and above all, effective cleansing. There is no tight dry feeling after using it and no compensating oil backlash as a result, ie not stripping. Able to use it year round with no issues.
It is on the higher end price-wise but it lasts a while and I use 2-4 pumps (bottle dispenses very little product which is good) every night and morning. I do double cleanse (Kahina oil cleanser at nighttime to remove sunscreen) but it removes every last trace of oil and dirt leaving my skin calm and ready for night treatments. I dispense the product on dry hands and massage onto damp skin. If my hands are wet, the cleanser sort of disappears so I make sure to use dry hands. Although, it may seem like an insufficient amount of product, a little goes a long way.
I have to order in the mail 🙁 so I have tried other cleansers on occasions but I always go back to it, I am probably on my fifth or sixth. Like all Yuli products, the packaging is top.
It is just a cleanser BUT it is a challenge to find a cleanser in the green beauty realm that ticks off all the boxes AND actually cleanses. Definitely recommend.
