Oh Redken.. what have you done?? This product is amazing for thick, dry hair – it didn’t make my hair crunchy like all the horrid “too many of their kind” protein repairs.
All the other Redken products do nothing for my hair, they have too much repair in them!! Don’t get me started on the Frizz range, omg that’s just awful stuff.
Please bring back this range – it would appear I am not alone in my request !!

Bleached highlights, sun damage, very thick crispy hair, botched salon bleach job somewhere in the middle of my hair and now I have a new beautiful bronze/brown colour from another salon.
Yes, my hair is very thirsty and dry on the ends and NOTHING gets through my hair apart from this Holy Grail of a product. I tried Moroccan Oil, I tried Redken All Soft Oil (waste of time!) and I’ve even tried supermarket oils. This year I found the Slim Supreme and I’ve never looked back.
I also had used the phalic looking After Party a few years ago, and I’d say that slim surpreme is what After Party should have been updated to. Don’t get me wrong, After Party can still de-puff, but nowhere near as conditionning as Slim Supreme.
Somehow, this product just takes that nasty bulk away from the lengths and ends AND seems to moisturise – have you woken up with bulky overweight bloated hair ?! Have you woken up and felt like you needed yet another salon wash and blow dry ? Just pump about 3 pumps into your hand and feed those strands – I pile the top lengths into clips, to smooth down the underneath bits, then gradually unclip the top, until all tops and undersides of the strands have been coated – yes, that’s how much my hair slurps this up.
My hair ritual is:Goldwell Dual Senses RICH REPAIR (the salon formula that my hairdresser friend buys me) as my shampoo and conditioner – small amount of Slim Supreme, blow dry – then put more Slim Supreme on. Then I don’t wash my hair for 9 days (it seriously doesn’t need it, it’s that thick and weird) and just use a tiny amount of dry shampoo.
Shine Shine Shine !!
I think i get through a bottle every 5-6 months.
WARNING: If you have limp hair and it’s not terribly thick, curly nor luscious, this product IS NOT for you. Try the Kerastase Ciment range instead to repair your damaged thin locks.

My bleached/dry/wavy hair instantly absorbes this product. There is no oily/greasy/sticky residue, nothing at all. It smells so good and fruity. Wish it was a bit more hydrating but because I can use it everyday without getting greasy, weighed down hair I love it. 🙂

I have porous, dry, color treated hair that frizzes at the drop of a hat. My hair is also wavy so it tends to look “big”. I am from Jersey but I don’t want my hair to give that away. I used 2 pumps of this product on my towel dried hair and blew it our straight with a round brush and an Elchim dryer (great dryer!!). My hair felt smooth, sleek, and less poofy than usual. Love this stuff. I highly recommend all Redken products, especially this one. I’ve used All Soft Thermal Styler and the Smooth Down Heat Glide product. This trumps both if you are looking for smooth, sleeker hair.
***This definitely made my hair feel dryer than usual…I wonder if there is a lot of alcohol in this product..Switched to something else

I agree 100% with the previous review. I too have fine hair and this doesn’t way it down at all. Makes my hair very soft and shiny. Smells great too. Someone had compared this to Paul Mitchell Super Skinny but I like this way better. I just wish it didn’t cost so much but it does seem to last for awhile. Would definitely recommend!

This product is pretty nice. I tried it it before blow-drying, and it didn’t bring down the volume of my hair or seem to do much. Smooth Down Heat Glide works better for that.
But after styling, on my flat-ironed hair, 2 pumps of this product makes my hair sooo soft and silkier than ever before and adds shine, too. It melts into my hair. I like to use it on my ends. It helps with maintaining the smoothness of my hair. This serum is also very light so I don’t think anyone should have problems with it weighing their hair down. This is coming from someone with fine hair.
The scent is great, too!
The only thing I don’t like is the shape of the pump, which is kind of rounded on top which makes it difficult to use.
