Worst ever. It is painfull when applying. It gives length but in a very unnatural (= messy) way. Besides this, it does nothing.

Here’s what I want from a mascara:
1) good grip on the first stroke. Gives a good coat first time around then builds length and volume with a second coat if I want it. Huge, overly thick ‘fake’ lashes not a priority.
2) stays on, no smudging or flaking. I have oily, deep set lids so this is quite a challenge.
3) comes off easily with a proper eye make up remover, no pulling or morning residue.
Unlike all the other Bourjois mascaras I’ve tried, this one nails it on point 1. Goes on thickish but not clumpy. Stays on too, it was almost ticking all three boxes. BUT….taking it off is hard, I’d almost compare to a waterproof. Barely budges with my regular cream remover, I have to ‘soak’ it off with micellar water, almost like gel nail polish. Even then I still get a faint panda eye in the morning. Not good! You underestimate how important it is that eye make off comes off easily until you find one that just won’t move. Won’t repurchase.

I don’t have anything nice to say about this product to be honest. It’s pretty expensive by ‘drugstore’ (Boots/Superdrug) standards, and performs far worse than cheaper mascaras from L’Oreal, Maybelline etc that I’ve tried.
It smudges very soon after application, when other low-end mascaras hold up for 8 hours. Leaves flakes on my under-eye/cheek after a few hours. The wand is both terrible at separating upper lashes, and makes it near impossible not to get mascara all over the skin around your eyes. The formula is overly wet and does not help to hold a curl in my lashes.
There aren’t really any good aspects to this product. I’m angry that I spent money it.

First, I need to brag about the killer price I got this mascara at. I don’t often see Bourjois products here in BC so when I came across this cute Bourgois make up bag with this full sized mascara, full sized nail polish, full sized felt tip eyeliner, travel sized lip creme and trial sized serum for – get this – $9.99 at Winners! I couldn’t resist.
Onto the mascara review. Nice, rich black color. More lengthening than body building. It surprisingly didn’t flake or clump after all day wear but it did smudge a tiny bit onto my upper eyelid but not my lower eyelid. I always curl my eyelashes prior to wearing mascara and this mascara didn’t straighten them out too badly after application.
The price was INCREDIBLE for a try-it-for-the-first-time but I doubt I would have paid full price for it, whatever that is. Like another reviewer had said, not the best mascara I’ve ever used but certainly not the worst.
I’d only buy it again if I found the exact same Bourjois make up bag for that price.

Initially I loved this mascara, great volume and great deep black colour. However, I have found that after a few months, it started to clump to much for me. Clumping in mascara drives me nuts, and for the price of this mascara, I would expect it not to clump so soon.

Doing great for the first 4 hours, then it melts. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, I don’t get the raving reviews. This mascara does nothing special for me. In fact, I found it particularly difficult to handle and to get something decent out of it.
First coat: okay-ish. Seen better. Seen worse.
Second coat: oh no. OH NO. Smearing to no end. Try again.
Pros:
– well … blackens the lashes?
– can be removed easily (yeah, sorry)
Cons:
– way too much product on the brush
– the brush (WTF? This is supposed to work? How?)
– The packaging (seems to be a thing now to make mascaras bigger and bigger and bigger, I’m sorry, but I don’t have to compensate for anything that pressingly)
I won’t buy again. I have to say I was a bit disappointed since I read good things about it and saw amazing swatches but for me this mascara just did not work.

First week was amazing,and after that it’s like formula changed because of air entering or something.It started to clump and gave me spidery lashes.
