The first Neosrata product I used was ‘Lotion Plus AHA 15′ back in 2006 and loved it. Fast forward over a decade and I recently re-discovered the brand after a chat with a dermatologist where he mentioned his clinics success with the products. Gel Plus was my choice this time around. Simple, unfussy formula and a decent amount of Glycolic acid – strong enough to get the job done yet not too harsh to cause a reaction either. I primarily use this on my body and on a PM only, followed by a good SPF50 sunblock during the day. It helps reduce bumpiness and improve my skins’ texture significantly wherever I apply it. The KP on my arms is less noticeable after a few weeks of application and I no longer get bacne or chestne when using this as it exfoliates constantly and prevents any bumps from forming.
The only reason I don’t use this on my face is because ‘alcohol’ is the 2nd ingredient in here and I try to avoid using products with alcohol on my face as it dries my skin out with long term use. For my hands, feet, upper arms etc though this is a god-send and definitely worth the $48 price tag.

I’ve repurchased this product already 3 times and will continue to do so. I swear by it. About a year and a half ago I had absolutely the worst case of inflammatory acne you could imagine. My cosmetologist offered me a sample of this product and told me that it works wonders for her skin. I tried it out for a week and decided to purchase it. Right now my skin is clear, but I’ll still continue using it (just in case). I used to use it two times a day (in the morning and before going to sleep), because there was no point in wearing make-up since no foundation could mask my acne. Now that my skin is clear (thanks to this product and korean face masks), I only use it before going to sleep. After using it for a few weeks not only I saw that my pimples were getting smaller or vanished, but also saw that it got rid of wrinkles on my forehead and laugh lines (I’m really young so they were not deep). What is great about it – it doesn’t dry out my skin. But I must warn you, If you have no experience with AHA, BHA etc. this might burn your skin. I’ve had tons of experience before I started using it so it didn’t burn, putting it on my skin feels refreshing. The only downside of this product is the packaging. The first time i bought it, it had the same packaging as in this picture and it wasn’t too bad. The only thing negative I remember about it – a few weeks after using it the product would dry out in the opening hole, so I had to push it out with the cotton swab. The other times i bought gel plus, the product came in this over-sized toothpaste type of container. I felt that because the product is very runny and the packaging isn’t very suitable for this type of product I end up using way more that I actually need. But regardless of that fact, whenever I purchase the ‘Neostrata gel plus’ gel, I finish the whole container in about 8 months.

I will buy it again, it is expensive but you don´t need to use much.
I use this for my acne, I was able to see a difference in a matter of days, I am very happy with having almost zero redness and a better skin tone, but the things that blows away is the texture, i had lost of “holes” in my face from having very strong chicken pox and I always assumed things would be like that since you can´t “grow” a new skin, turns out I was wrong because the texture is much smother now.
Acording to the product it also has anti-aging components if that is something you are looking for that.
Overall, it is a must have.

WARNING: This product can be very destructive for sensitive, allergic, normal to dry, Accutane treated skin types.
Never recommended! It contains ALCOHOL, it smells ALCOHOL. Alcohol is very harmful to the skin since it break the skin barrier, dry the skin, as a result, get older the skin. Also once you dry your skin, the amount of the sebum will increase and your skin will be even more oily and acneic than before. This is exactly what this product did to my face. Also it didnt show any improvement for my acnes. I couldnt understand why a cosmetic brand add that much EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL and VERY POTENT ACİD to its product. I will never buy again this expensive yet harmful alcohol denat. + too much acidic concentration which destroyed my skin barier. I was like a red tomato until I gave up to use it.

It really helped to clean my adult acne prone skin. After one month my pimples are gone, my blackheads are much less, the tone of my skin is evened. It helped also with some dark spots that are fading a little bit week after week.
Yes, I think it’s more like medicine, because you can’t enjoy it’s use like with normal cosmetic creamy and scented products, but it definitely works!
In the evening I wash my face with glycolic wash, apply this gel and voilà thats it. I don’t moisturize after, I just leave my skin breath and I wake up with clean glowing skin. And that’s what I desire most…

The most magical product i’ve used in my life. … I’m 26 with oily skin and i was suffering the acnes since 10 years. Now, i still have few breakouts from time to time (especially before th periode). You konw, when you finish to suffering the red painful acnes, you think you could finish the annoying skin problems. However, the acnes not only gave me the annoying adolescent periode but also left me scars on my face. Fortunately, i found the best solution to erase those scars without those horrible laser operations. That’s neostrata who save my beauty.
I have quite a lot little creaters on my face. I started to use it since Mars, almost every night. So now it’s already 5 months. I took some photos before using it, and the third month of using it and today i found quite a lot creaters disappeared and my bf said it looks like you did a plastic surgery. And also my skin is smoother and lighter than before.
PS: be attention about the sunshine, if you are not oily skin , dont use it because it s quite strong perling product.
So i sincerely recommand girls to try it if you have acne problems.

I’m 37 – acne scars, still oil / combination skin. This is the only product I have ever found to smooth my skin out, clear up oil and get rid of pimples, literally almost overnight. No adverse reactions. It clearly isn’t for everyone by reading the reviews here, but if you’ve suffered with pimples your whole life, it’s worth a try!

Overwhelming scent of alcohol, burning, drying, and irritating. My face can tolerate the Skin Laboratory Glycolac 60 once a week. However, it could not tolerate this once a day or once every other day. I used it for a little over a month, once a day for 2.5 weeks and twice for the last 2 weeks. My blackheads seemed to multiply while the Glycolac cleans them out. I’ve got combination, sensitive, easily clogged skin. This is definitely not suited for my skin type and I questioned the esthetician who sold it to me. She swore it would be wonderful. Definitely not wonderful.
