Love it! First and only cleanser that, in my opinion, has no cons.
It does not dry out my skin, no waxy, oily residue after use. Just clean, hydrated and refreshed skin.
My adult acne disappeared about a week after which was a huge surprise, as I wouldn’t tell that a cleanser could make such a difference.
I got a sample of different cleanser and tried it twice, and the morning after I noticed two new pimples on my cheek.
You need small drop to clean your face, so the bottle will last forever.
I do not use any other obagi product.

I use the Obagi C cleansing gel as a second cleanser at night. I like to use coconut oil or a cleansing balm to melt off my makeup. Then I go in with the Obagi on a clarisonic brush to do a deep cleaning. This gets my skin very clean without stripping it and making it feel tight or dry. I bought this after watching Stephanie Nicole’s skin care videos on youtube. She swears by this and so far I love it. I’ve been using it nightly for about a month. You only need one large drop and it cleans out the pores and makes my skin look very smooth and feels soft. I would definitely repurchase.

I wanted to change my excessively oily, clogged pores, scarred skin with this product. Good reviews. High hopes. Well after 2 weeks of twice daily use i started getting blemishes everywhere. Omg. It has 4 parabens in it. Yikes

The best cleanser I have ever tried, removes makeup, not drying at all (my skin tends to be very dry) seems to be very good for my skin… I’m very impressed… I’ve tried so many cleansers, this one is the best so far

I have been in a rough journey finding an HG cleanser. I must say, I found my one true love! This product is great. so gentle and it doesnt irritate my face. A little goes a long way. I bought mine in July and it January already. I think 1 bottle lasts around 6-7 months if used 2x everyday.. Its a gooood poduct. I would love to try all obagi products. its the only brand I trust 🙂

This is a really good foaming facial cleanser. I have occasional acne prone, combination skin with a very oily t zone. You only need the tiniest drop of this and it lathers up really well. Great for removing entire traces of makeup (including eye makeup) without leaving your skin feeling dry. Skin feels really clean, without feeling tight. Although its pricier than a lot of cleansers it really does last a long time as you literally just need the tiniest bit as it foams up so well. Have just purchased my second bottle.

I use this cleanser to remove my makeup, and it is performing so great for this purpose ! Never strips off my skin but yet cleanse all makeup traces .. Leathers up niceley, no offensive smell, only thing I wish it goes better about this product is the packaging wish it came in a dispensing bottle .. Other than that I’m very satisfied .. Haven’t seen brightening effects yet maybe because I don’t use it daily as I don’t wear makeup on daily basis as well ..

I’ve been a faithful Purpose Cleansing Gel user for 20 years and finally found something better. This is a fantastic foaming gel cleanser for all skin types. I wash my face twice, once to remove makeup and a second time to thoroughly cleanse the skin. It completely removes all of my makeup (mascara, brow pencil, sunscreen, foundation…everything!) very effectively. It never leaves my skin feeling dry or stripped like Purpose sometimes did. Its also concentrated so a little goes a long way, and the generous size bottle lasts a long time.
My small gripes are the bottle’s dated look and the lack of a pump dispenser, but those are packaging and not performance issues.
I have never experienced any negative side effects with this cleanser, and I feel that my usual products work better after I’ve cleansed with this. If you like a foaming cleanser that leaves you feeling clean and refreshed without dryness definitely give it a try.

I absolutely love this cleanser (HG). It has drastically changed my skin. I am a 33 yr. old light skinned black woman w/hormonal cystic acne, oily skin, and slight reddness on upper cheeks. This cleanser is amazing because every since I started using it I no longer have to use retin-a or spot treatments around my jawline….the reason: because I miraculosly no longer get cystic acne. For the life of me I cannot understand how a cleanser only would help cystic acne & nodules but it definitely does. It helps even out my skin tone and takes the redness and extra oiliness away. I want to use this cleanser for the rest of my life.
At one point I did stray away from this cleanser (a few months ago for about 3 months-I tried Exposed Skin Care and Shishedo) because of the parabens but no other cleanser comes close to this cleanser as far as helping my skin. Everyone who has stubborn acne needs to really give this a try. Before I used this nothing ever worked for my skin. Some of the products I used were Proactiv, Murad, Clinique, Diffiren Gel, Retin-A, Clindimycin, Benzaclin, Babor, Neutrogena, etc….(the list goes on and on).
I use this morning and evening (I have used it about 1 year)…I don’t apply anthing else. One thing also the at recently started doing once a month is getting a Vitalize Chemical Peel from an Esthetician. It is really great for getting rid of dead skin and it is helping to take away the old acne marks that I got when I used a different cleanser and broke out).
I do get a couple black heads on my left check from time to time but that is nothing compared to how my skin used to look with all kinds of raised bumps, cystic acne etc.. This cleanser smells good and really does a good job of cleaning without leaving a residue. I think it is perfect for oily skin.
TRY IT….IT MAY BE THE BEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU HAVE ACNE!!!
