Okay whoa. WHOA. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best liquid lipstick formula I’ve ever come across. It’s completely non-drying and super comfortable, applies evenly, and lasts just as long as its more drying counterparts. It’s somewhat thin, but creamy upon application (but not mousse-like), and the pointed doefoot applicator makes precise application around the lip line a breeze.
The shade Vertigo is very similar to Ayesha by KVD, except Vertigo has this gorgeous teal shimmer throughout. It’s not incredibly glittery, rather, it’s a wash of beautiful shimmer that (!!!!) increases as you wear it! I don’t mind wearing this to the office with a simple eye – maybe a light wash of champagne shimmer on the lid and a slick of mascara. I absolutely adore this shade.
Packaging is adorable, sturdy, and the aforementioned applicator is a dream.
I paid $18 for this at Ulta, and that’s not so bad considering most high-end liquid lipsticks are over $20. You do get slightly less than some other brands, but not to an offensive degree.
I’m definitely going to explore other Sugarpill liquid lipsticks after trying this one. Absolutely brilliant formula!
