I bought this because I was looking for a strong heat defense serum. I’ve been using John Frieda thermal protection serum for a few years now, and although I like it, I’m always on the lookout for other good ones. I bought this product at Sephora, and it wasn’t cheap: $34 (before tax) for 50ml. It has a very thick texture, and the pump on the bottle takes a while to get product out of it, but once I used it I was very happy with the results. It makes my hair extremely soft and smooth, without making it greasy. I don’t know if this product would be good for thin hair, because it does have a very thick texture, but my hair is thick and coily/curly so it works like a dream. I flat iron my hair and I found this product helps smooth my hair quickly (I apply it to my damp hair, and then let my hair air dry completely…I don’t flat iron my hair damp!). Overall I’m very pleased and would re-purchase. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get the product out of the bottle, but I can learn to be patient…
