Bought this as a single item for $5.99 at my local CVS (not sure if that’s kosher, the product website says only sold in packs of five….). Not a HG item but a good mask to try if you are a newbie, like me. My skin is mature, combo, just starting to develop horizontal lines on forehead and crosshatching under eye sockets. My complexion is dull and I’m overdue for a good peel/exfoliation. I was happy with the Kenra anti-aging shampoo and conditioner with snail essence (slime) so I thought snail slime would be good for my face. Putting it on was a bit tricky because although there are drawings on the back to show you how, the instructions are all in Korean. I found a YouTube video (too late) showing how to put it on. The one thing I’m not a fan of is the excess liquid that come leaking out of the single mask wrapper, and knowing it was snail slime didn’t make it any more palatable. The mask is sandwiched between a thick white plastic outer layer and comes in two parts, upper and lower. I found it a bit tricky to get it on my face so that everything was covered because the mask itself is so saturated and falls and curls over on itself. I was able to get it on and remove the outside layer, but by that time some of the mask under my lower lip had folded over and I couldn’t get it to attach to my skin. I really recommend watching a video before you attempt this. But once I had it on, I lay down for 30 mins and felt a cool tingling that was pleasant. I was pleased that there wasn’t a thick gloppy layer still sitting on my skin after I peeled off the mask (I didn’t need to wipe off anything, just gently pat it in. I did this before bed and was very happy with the softer, smoother skin I woke up with.
