For a $10 lip balm, this isn’t very hydrating or long-lasting. It’s like a less emollient and moisturizing version of the blue tube Nivea lip balm.
The packaging is lovely, and it’s lightly honey scented.
It is light, waxy greasy, and sits on top of the lips. It barely lasts at all. I don’t recommend it.

I have tried countless lip balm/treatments it seems (Carmex, chapstick, Fresh, Burt’s Bees, lanolips, etc). Many, many make my lips drier or make them peel (as do most lipsticks).
After much trial and error I realized my lips for the most part are better off with nothing. However, Aveda lip saver, Dr Bronner night (never in stock anymore at B&B Works) Clinique lip repair (which I use at night) and now this are an exception. I ran out of Aveda and was at Sephora and thought I’d try this. I like this for daytime under lipstick. It has a bit of shine, provides a bit of slip and keeps my lips from drying out under lipstick and causes no peeling. It has no taste, a slight pleasant honey smell, and is natural. I would repurchase.

I liked this enough to finish the tube but not enough to repurchase. Pros: relatively healthy ingredients, mild taste/scent, cruelty free, cheaper than most competitors. Cons: thin and not that moisturizing. If I use this at night, my lips are fairly dry in the morning. It’s better for daytime use when I’m able to frequently re-apply. However, since I have to apply so frequently, I ran through the tube much faster than I do with most, so I’d rather shell out for a pricier option (like Bite Agave lip balm) that gives me more bang for my buck.

The new Farmacy Beauty Honey Butter Lip Balm is one of the more affordable and one of the better suggestions for a moisturizing lip balm from Sephora. This feels nice on the lips and leaves them feeling soft. This doesn’t have much of a taste but does contain some fragrance, thankfully those fragrance ingredients are at the end of the ingredient list, but I kind of wonder why bother if it doesn’t even add a flavor to it? Overall this is a decent lip balm, there are still better ones out there. but this is one of the more affordable options. My more detailed review video is here: M

This is an awesome lip balm with a great ingredients list. It applies to the lips so smoothly, feels so nourishing and it lasts quite long on the lips (it lasts around 2+ hours if you don’t eat something greasy, which is impressive for a lip balm). There is barely any discernable scent, I only sometimes catch a whiff of faint honey. It also doesn’t taste like much either. This is a buttery lip balm that isn’t waxy or stiff, but it isn’t runny and thin either – a very nice medium. You can feel the lip balm coating your lips, but it is lightweight.
The plastic packaging is very cute, sturdy, and slim (in comparison to the Fresh lip balms, which are much bulkier and heavier). The cap closes with a very satisfying click, and I really appreciate how the stick of lip balm itself sits flush against the sides of the container (unlike the Fresh lip balms where there is wiggle room). The twisting mechanism isn’t the smoothest out there (compared to the Fresh lip balms, which twists very smoothly), but it is not an annoyance or does it affect the performance in any way – it’s just something that I noticed.
I like this a lot better than the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment or the Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment. I’ve tried both and this Farmacy lip balm blows them out of the water – for a fraction of the price too ($13 CAD). If I could pick which lip balm I could have for free I would definitely pick this Farmacy lip balm over either of the Fresh lip balms. I really enjoy using this and would continue to repurchase unless I find something even better.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
