I became familiar with these self tanners last year. I bought the big spray bottle thinking that it was easier to use. The big spray is somewhat better for body but the tan doesn’t come out even. So I returned the product. This year, my face looked really pale and lifeless. Right in the middle of winter, I went to Sephora and the SA recommended the small drop bottle. This product comes in three shades: pink for lighter tan; green for medium tan; and blue for darker tan. The blue pretty much makes you look brown which is a better shade for darker skin people. I went for the green one and after a couple of use, it looked like I spent the summer in Hawaii. The shade is golden tan but is very natural. The product is very gentle and moisturizing when applied. The color stays for about 3 days. When it gradually fades, it is still a good shade and keeps skin looking healthy. After a couple of usage, I am beginning to like my skin color. Although it is ridiculous to have a tan right in the middle of winter, this product has helped me in wearing less makeup and having a better skin. The manufacturer claims that it does even the skin tone. I think the drops definitely do. I would recommend the drops for the face and neck down to the shoulder and chest area and then L’Oreal self tanning towels for the rest of the body. Also, the product is recommended to be mixed with your moisturizer and then applied. I washed my face with a moisturizing cleanser and applied this. If you mix it with moisturizer, the shade looks faded and not as pigmented. I highly recommend the drops for face. Enjoy!
