Exfoliating is so important, I noticed changes in my skin texture and tone after incorporating exfoliation in my skin care routine. My skin is occasionally prone to breakouts with red painful acne’s I was always reluctant about exfoliation because I thought it might aggregate the pimples, I did some physical exfoliation once or twice a week ( scrubbing) but it never helped my blackheads and whiteheads, one day I came across chemical exfoliation by wishtrend. Yes it’s a chemical exfoliator and the sound Chemical itself makes it intimidating but never did I knew that chemical exfoliation are more gentle and effective than physical exfoliation, it opened my eyes after I started incorporating this mandelic water into My skin care routine, I use it once every day after work, it works wonder on cleaning my dirty pores ( makeup, dirt, sebum) but when I am home and not out I skip the routine. This has become my HG, it had helped my frequent breakouts, and works wonders on blackheads and acne scars. My skin glows from within and it has become healthier. It helps my other products to penetrate effectively. I used it only during night time, after makeup remover, I cleans my face, then gently pour three to four drops n a cotton pad and wipe all over my face then continue with my toner, serum, moisturiser and facial oil.
I skip vitamin C or any AHA/BHA produts whenever I use this exfoliator because it’s a simple rule in any beauty class never ever use two exfoliator at a time, and during day because Madelic acid is highly sensitive to sun.
I recommend this to everyone who is suffering from those stubborn acne or those tiny pumps, uneven skin tone, open pores, every skin type even sensitive but sensitive can use it once or twice a week.
I have seen so much of improvement just within a month. The smell is nothing bad and the packaging is handy. I am definitely repurchasing again. And yes R.E.M. that exfoliation is so so IMPORTANT if you want a healthy ageless skin.

My skin is dry and occasionally prone to breaking out, but normally I just have 1 or 2 spots a month. I always make sure to take really good care of my skin and I really pay attention to the ingredients in my skincare. However recently I have been suffering the worst breakout in a long time and my normal skincare stopped working for me. I have tried a lot of different products and brands, but it seemed that whatever I put on my face just made me break out even more. I finally found the right products to get my skin under control and one of these products is the By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 55 Skin prep Water.
It’s an exfoliating toner and removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores and brightens up the skin. What makes By Wishtrend products particularly great is that their ingredients list is not long. They focus on key ingredients that deliver results and cut out any unnecessary filler ingredients that could potentially irritate the skin.
I absolutely love this product and it has made a huge difference to my skin alongside the other skincare products that I used to get my skin back to normal.

I am hard pressed to find another type of product I like more than acids. Sunscreen? I mean, I wear it every day because it’s the most important anti-aging product you can use, but it just doesn’t blow my skirt up the acid’s do. And the thing is, I’ve been using pretty intense acid’s in my skincare routine for well on 15 years now. But that love is not unconditional. I am extremely picky about the acids I use on my skin, and after using Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 for a couple years what makes an acceptable acid product *for my skin* is narrowed even more. Which is why I was very wary of this product. Molecularly speaking mandelic acid is one of the largest alpha hydroxy acids, which means it doesn’t penetrate deeply into the skin and therefore won’t be as effective as lactic or glycolic acid. Add to that the relatively low percentage contained in the product, and well. I wasn’t expecting much.
But hey, hope springs eternal so I bought a bottle.
And as you’ve probably deduced from the 5 lippies gracing this review it was not disaster. In fact I really, really like this product! It’s obviously not as strong as P50, but as I’ve increased the percentage tretinoin I actually find myself reaching for this more frequently than P50 because my skin just can’t handle an acid that strong. And the fact that I can use it without issue when my skin is thinned by tretinoin makes me believe By Wishtrend’s marketing copy about this being an effective exfoliator for sensitive skin. Speaking of which, this does has some very good skin soothing ingredients in the other 95% of this product that isn’t acid. Beta-glucan and panthenol are skin calming and moisturizing. Licorice root and centella are good anti-inflammatories, and… look, I could just go down the ingredients list, but this is honestly just surprisingly well formulated and there really isn’t anything useless or questionable in it. Companies frequently like to make outlandish marking claims, but looking at the ingredients and By Wishtrend’s marketing claims (exfoliating, anti-acne/anti-inflammatory, skintone evening), and yeah, this is product could definitely do those things with consistent, long term use.
So… if you’re acne prone and/or sensitive and/or looking for a good starting points for adding acids into your routine this is a great product. Try it.
