Honest review:
One of the worst eyecreams I’ve ever bought.
First of all, the texture is so weird and jelly that it makes it really hard to apply and sink into the skin. I’ve figured that you need to warm it up first to become applicable, but still then it didn’t feel right for me.
Upon the first application it made my eyes burn like crazy. The next morning my eyes were so red, itchy and incredibly dry.
Despite the bad reaction, I thought I’d try it one more week, but nope, my eyes became even more dry, and on top of that I got really dark circles, which I generally don’t have. My whole eye area got flaky like burnt skin.
It took at least another week for my eyes to recover from this horrible eyecream.
Also, the packaging and the amount of product inside is very little.
Worst reaction I’ve ever got to an eyecream.

UPDATE: The ingredients listed on MUA are incorrect and DO include multiple parabens. Ulta and Nordstrom’s websites are also incorrect. Maybe they changed their formula.
Aqua (Water, Eau), Glycerin, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil, Huile Minérale), Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Olus Oil (Vegetable Oil, Huile Végétale), Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Petrolatum, Tocopherol, Euphrasia Officinalis Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lecithin, Glycolipids, Caprylyl Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Dimethiconol, Ethylhexyl Cocoate, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Propylparaben, PVM/MA Copolymer, Diazolidinyl Urea, Phenyl Trimethicone, Methylparaben, Polyquaternium-24, Sodium Chloride, Limonene, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 42090 (Blue 1)
2 lippies removed. Parabens are definitely not herbal! Won’t buy again!!!
ORIGINAL: No animal testing, no parabens, no colors added! I love this eye cream!
It’s not greasy at all, yet plumps up my fine lines without sitting on top of my skin. For years I used Philosophy’s Hope in a Tube, which I liked, but it left a greasy sticky sheen around my eyes. Enter Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream! Not sure why it’s light green, nor what the mysterious “herbal extract” ingredient is, but unlike other Mario Badescu eye creams this one is free of parabens and artificial colors. Not a fan of the finger dip jar, but my hands are always freshly washed when I use it.

Not bad, not good – just nothing. This eye treatment didn’t cause irritation (though it could sting a little if it got too close to my actual eyes) but it also didn’t do anything for my tired eyes/dark circles.
This cream is a mousse-like texture, very light and not greasy. It is light green, like mint ice cream, with a slight, subtle herbal scent. It doesn’t soak in quickly, leaving a slippery film on top of the eye area for quite a while after application.
Nonetheless, it does basically nothing except maybe add a little extra moisture to the eye area. Definitely not worth $18.

I have used this for about a week now. It was recommended for dark circles under eye as it has Vit C. I am pleased so far. No eye irritation. Using it daily as a night time eye cream. Some improvement in undereye darkness. The real improvement is in the texture of my skin. Very impressed. Made it smooth and feels tighter without feeling tight. Also I use the cooling metal eye tool from mally. Maybe that makes a diff. It soaks right in to the dry areas. No odor.

Meh… not impressed. Doesn’t seem to do anything. Yes it’s cooling but it stings like the devil if it gets in your eyes. I only have a very few tiny lines around my eyes and it didn’t really do anything for them.

I have been pleasant surprised on how well this creme hydrates my under eye and orbital skin. I have eczema patch on my brow bone and this creme prevent the ruddy discoloration and scaly skin that the eczema can cause. Works well so I don’t have to use a steroid creme. I have used far more expensive eye creams that don’t work as well as this cream. Its rich but not heavy. Does not cause break outs.

This really felt like I was just rubbing some cool jelly on my face from the refrigerator. No benefits, no real moisture going on. Tiny amount, expensive.

I am so surprised that more people are not in love with this eye cream. It is about 4738915748319 times better than Mario Badescu’s Ceramide Eye Gel and one of the best that I have ever used.
I find it extremely hydrating. I use it at night because it is a bit heavy and thick so I don’t want it sitting on my face all day. I am not sure if it reduces fine lines and wrinkles because I don’t have any of either, however, I do know that it has reduced the look of dark circles that I have never been able to get rid of and has done wonders to decrease the puffiness. A little bit goes a long way with this product, so $18 USD for a .5 ounce jar is really not too bad of a deal.
I would definitely repurchase this product. I ran out of my jar of this about a month and a half ago, and my Ulta did not have any is stock, so I was forced to buy Mario Badescu’s Ceramide Eye Gel which does not even COMPARE to this product. I will continue to check back at Ulta, so that I can get more of this and ditch the gel that does nothing for me.

I received this as a sample and I love it. A little goes a long way but my under eyes look hydrated and fine lines do not look as bad as they did. I started using a Neutrogena eye cream and my parched looking under eye look started coming back. Like many other women I have paid hundreds on eye creams to only find no major difference or have had numerous reactions. The price is great and I will purchase the full size

This product was just “ok” for me. It was actually the first eye cream I’ve ever used, I’ve now been using for about 3 mos. The price point is amazing and ceramide is known to help hydrate. I think if you just want a basic preventative inexpensive eye cream this is perfect. However, for me it was not hydrating enough. This reminded me a lot of vaseline where it’s really moisturizing while it’s on the skin; but as soon as you wash it off your skin is back to dry. It has no long term moisturizing effect. I will finish up my jar but I will not repurchase.
