Bright & punchy yet so easy to wear. Slightly sheer but can be built up to full opacity, with a balmy formula that applies evenly and easily. Lasting power is medium but it fades normally. Feels really good on. Definitely some shimmer in this one. But the color is so gorgeous—hot pink-red, almost neon, which for some reason (plus the sheerness) makes this a super non-intimidating red. This is honestly the only bright lipstick I will wear in the daytime. It’s going to be so nice in summer with a slight tan and minimal everything else.
The tube is bright red and fun too. I got Eden for $5 at Marshalls, but I wouldn’t have been mad about paying full price for it.

I own three saint lipsticks from this brand and love them. This one, alas, did not work for me. Perhaps it is the obvious glitter that makes me dislike it as the colour in itself is actually quite nice. But I don’t want glitter in my lipstick.

This is a really beautiful lipstick. I have tried several Lipstick Queen formulas before and they’re all fantastic. That said, this has to be my least favorite. It’s not a slam on the color or formula, however. It’s a gorgeous bright red color, that’s kind of a candy apple red, that sometimes looks a tiny bit more pink or even reminds me a bit of a hot rose. It really is a vivid red, one that’s buildable, so you can have a sheer swipe or add more layers for real impact. It’s just complex enough where you can gaze at it and pick out the tones and dimensions in it. Basically it’s not some sheer lippie or a flat matte.
I’m not sure how it would look on everyone, whether it’s universally flattering. I’m on the pale side with cool/neutral skin, brunette/auburn hair (depending) and green eyes and it works well on me. There’s a bit of shimmer here, though I don’t really pick up the hints of green that the accompanying description mentions. At least not after it’s freshly applied. When it wears down, I can see the tiny flecks of green glitter/shimmer. (There aren’t a lot there, but they do exist.)
It applies evenly, feels comfortable, has a beautiful shimmer, and wears well without migrating. Most of the time. I have noticed on hotter days it might migrate a tiny bit if I reapply without patting some it off first.
It’s simply not my favorite LQ lipstick because I love so many of the other ones all the better, merely because I prefer pinky nudes, warm reds, plums and berries, and if I were to replace this one I’d rather go with one of the Butterfly Collection or one of the Saints. That’s just a personal opinion, though. If you would like a cheerful red that’s not too vampy, this could be just the thing.

I love this lipstick. It’s my favorite Lipstick Queen and that’s saying a lot. I rarely buy lipsticks from any other brand. Eden is my favorite color red – perfect for summer! It’s moisturizing, long-lasting, and it adds the perfect touch of color. I didn’t think anything could top Medieval, but Eden is the best!
