   I was introduced to this product by a sample size. I’ve since bough the full size twice. Gives great separation and length. Good on the volume too but that’s not its strong point. It’s a dryer formula. Will keep repurchasing as long as it’s available Ha!

   I am very satisfied with this mascara. I have it in the color Wood & Black, and am using “Wood” currently for summer use. The wand is small (unlike my other favorite – Chanel LeVolume which has a larger dense brush) and this makes a big difference for me, as I can easily maneuver it to coat all the lashes, the tiny inner lashes individually while being able to apply from the lash base up to the tips to coat the longer lashes. It is easy to apply several sweeps to get a nice, full application of the product for maximum effect. I have to coat the top lashes then let it air dry and go back to do the bottom lashes else there will be transfer as it takes just a few minutes to dry. The color is a deep dark brown/black. This mascara does not smudge on me all day. My eyeliner may have worn off, but this mascara does not. No flaking either. I usually use only one coat to get the job done. The tube needs a little break in time, meaning I had to use it 3-4x before the formula “got going” so don’t despair if you don’t get a lot of product the first or even third time you use it. I pump the wand once or twice for the top lashes, then again for the bottom lashes. Love this mascara! I won’t open the black until the Fall (I have an open Definicils in Black to use up first). The mascara is removed easily at the end of the day with either a makeup remover wipe or liquid removed with a cotton pad. My right eye tends to water sometimes ( seasonal allergies) and this mascara doesn’t budge with that watering but this mascara is not sold as waterproof. Yes I will buy this again. Gave it a 4 for price only, but it’s Armani & all of their products are alittle more costly than many mid-priced HE products. Totally worth the price, IMO.

   I had purchased this when it came out and fell in love with it; it became my #1 mascara. I repurchased a few weeks ago after using up some of my other mascara’s and I am very disappointed. I have thin, short, lashes that turn down without being curled. I don’t know if it’s a bad batch or what, but it now leaves me with very thin, separated lashes, it flakes and leaves a mess. I’m extremely disappointed and now am searching for a new favorite.

   I bought this in Shade 3, Tadzio which is a golden brown. I am always interested in black alternatives and this is really lengthening but the shade helps brighten my eyes and I look defined without being overdone. The bronzey shade is beautiful.

   Unfortunately this flaked enough on me that I brought it back. I notice this with Armani mascaras now- maybe my skin has changed because when I first tried them, I had no trouble whatsoever with them? Who knows. Anyway, back to mascara hunting!

   I love Giorgio Armani’s “Eyes to Kill”, but “Black Ecstasy” is even better taking it up a notch. It does everything it claims: lengthens, adds volume, and curls. It says it is the blackest black- and it just may be. There is absolutely no clumping. Definitely my new favorite mascara! As with all Giorgio Armani, it is pricey, but I believe it’s so good that it’s worth it.

   10/4/2017 Update-
   I don’t use this anymore after getting a sample of Benefit’s Roller Mascara. I just purchased Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara and like it very much.
