I have tried many colors of this lipstick and have loved most of them. My favorites so far are Mabel, Audrey, Petal Rebel and Petal to the Metal. All of those are on the pink/mauve side. I also like Braziliant, which is more of a shiny pink but orangish shade, and is great for summer. My skin is fair to medium in shade and I have cool undertones. These lipsticks feel great on and this brand has many shades that are in the MLBB range for me. I almost gave a 4 and not a 5 because some shades tend to get very soft in the summer months and that can lead to breaking in the tube. As long as I keep them all in my purse, and am a bit careful in application, and not extend the product out too far, they tend to all be ok though. I am guessing the softness comes from the natural and I think all organic ingredients that are used. The ingredients are super natural and safe for me, and I have a lot of allergies and skin issues. These lipsticks are gluten free. I only use Red Apple lipsticks now! Highly recommend. Great web site too and very helpful online customer service people.

Smooth and comfortable lipstick with a faint vanilla frosting scent. Packaging reminds me of Kat Von D Studded Kiss lipsticks. If you are after a gluten-free natural lipstick I’d recommend these (most shades) along with Mineral Fusion lipsticks. Much better than Bite Beauty lipsticks which have a thick cakey texture, an overpowering artificial lolly scent, and go off in 6 months – to a year – such a waste of money! Some shades I’ve tried:
Audrey – creamy and moisturizing petal pink creme.
Berry Blast – creamy moisturizing muted plum neutral with a hint of ultra-fine glistening gold. Makes the lips look glowy, youthful and smooth.
Back to the Fuschia – vampy plum creme. A little drying. One layer looks like medium pinky plum, two layers builds to a vampy deep plum. Leaves a pinky plum stain as it wears. Dark shades like this tends to slide around and this is no exception, so I apply then blot to give a matte lipstick look.
Oh My Guava – pale warm nude with hints of peach. Creamy formula. Highlights texture so best on younger lips or prep lips really well first. I prefer Mineral Fusion (gluten-free) lipstick in “Nude”, which is 1/2 a shade deeper, slightly pinker and smooths over any texture or mild chapping.
Rallye Balm – clear lip balm. The the best balm I’ve ever tried equal to L’Occitane Pure Shea Butter, but unscented. Smooth, silky, long lasting I use on its own and as a lip primer before matte liquid lipsticks. Also doubles as a rich hydrator for dry flaky skin anywhere on the body. I keep a tube in my bag, to moisturize and shine up my nails, even on the dry ends of my hair! Doesn’t break me out as it doesn’t have gluten.
Rebel! – dark pink red cranberry creme. Slightly drying. Very pigmented and creamy on application, then wears down to a matte dark pink lip stain that is very long lasting.
Reddish Fetish – muted dark pink red cranberry creme. Nice glossy shine. Very similar to Rebel! in color and the way it wears down to a matte stain, but with a touch of brown to make it deeper and more wearable for the daytime. Slightly drying. Best used with a lip brush or lip liner as it tends to travel.
Secrets – soft muted grape with metallic gold reflects that make the lips look fuller. Not as creamy as the satins but feels very smooth and makes the lips glow. Soft neutral shade with a touch of luxury.

I have a lipstick in the shade Audrey, which is a gorgeous petal pink shade. The first thing I noticed about this lipstick was the texture. Upon application, it turns to a liquid on contact and feels very lightweight. This lipstick is gorgeous and wears very well throughout the day. The packaging is also unique, with a textured black tube. This lipstick is super pigmented- you really do not need to use a lot to get the desired result. I would definitely repurchase this lipstick in other shades.

I love this lipstick so very much! I suffer from chellitis, I am allergic to beeswax and castor oil, and if I search carefully, many of Red Apple’s lippies work just fine for me. Their customer service is above and beyond, and they have a 6 month money-back guarantee. If you want super-duper gluten free, vegan lipstick, then check out Red Apple Lipstick.
I also want to say I am not affiliated with this product. I am just a super-fan!

I LOVE Red Apple Lipstick. The lipsticks are high end. They are moisturizing with great color pay off. The eye shadows are fantastic. I use their eye shadow base and the colors last and are true and natural looking. All of their products are gluten free and vegan. I have noticed a difference using these products. My eyes do not itch anymore. I never paid attention to the itching until it stopped with these wonderful products. The customer service is out of this world. Great, fast shipping and excellent communication. My favorite lipstick is Mayberry but I have several that I love. The balm and exfoliator sticks are also fabulous. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had to for Red Apple.

I came across this brand last year as I was surfing the web and I was immediately intrigued. Jay and Andrea Harper are a Texas couple who have a commitment to producing safe cosmetics, primarily for those who deal with problems with gluten, parabens and chemicals in general, but anyone who is looking for an alternative to the mass-market hype should check them out. Their product range includes lipsticks, glosses, eye shadows, eyeliner and a soon to be released mascara. I’ve tried several of the lipsticks and they are excellent. The colors are natural and wearable (my personal favorite is Audrey, a wonderful everyday shade) and their website, redapplelipstick.com, uses staff members as models so you can see how “real people” look in the products. They produce their items in small batches so everything is much fresher than your local natural food store would carry- plus it’s a real kick to support a family-run company (when was the last time a drug/department store brand emailed you thanking you for your business?) Give them a try – I’m sure you’ll be pleased.
