I have this in the shade dusty mauve which shows up a beautiful subtle soft pink on my NC 48 skin It drys down to a soft matte finish and blends beautiful with my strippling brush. You could also use fingers or makeup sponge. It layers well with other products and it very pigmented. I will surely be trying more shades. My favorite part about this product is the texture. This has a creme to powder finish.

After reading several good reviews, as well as one (youtube video) by Wayne Goss, I ordered one of these in Carnation Pink. It’s everything people have said. Good pigment, buildable, easy to blend. I’ve had it on for 6 hours and it still looks great. If you have really oily skin, you might want to blot and set with powder, but I just love the dewy finish.
THE PRICE is $7.00, for a generous amount! I would compare this to Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, but at a fraction of the price. Available online through various sources. This comes in about 8 different colors, I believe.
Get online and check out all of the Ben Nye stuff. They’re super and super affordable!

These were a gift so I had to do a price point check. The blushes can be purchased individually or you can opt for all 6 shades housed in a “wheel” packaging for $17.99. This works out to about $3.00 per blush, which is pretty phenomenal.

The other thing I really like about these is that they are not loaded with mineral oils! This is great for me because my skin does not like mineral oils – they clog my pores and create all types of issues. The first ingredients seem to be waxes, the second talc. My skin does not care for talc either, however I can manage it if I am careful to wash everything out of my pores at the end of the day.
The shades remind me of the ELF shades of the HD, but these are MUCH easier to work with. I found them to be easy to blend out, are subtle, long lasting and you can build them up for more color. They dry down very quickly into a matte finish. They seem to work best applied with a slanted foundation type of brush, the paddle variety.

This is my first creme blush and I love it!!! Great for people with dry skin. Looks completely natural but still shows up. I have it in coral. I find it actually applies better on dry, bare skin. I try to limit the amount of times I wear foundation on a weekly basis, so I like to wear this blush on days I’m not wearing foundation. It will still work with foundation, but if you have dry skin like me, it might make your foundation get a little smudgey/flaky if you know what I mean.
I use my ELF flat top brush to apply this blush and it works great! It can be built up to as much as you want, too. The coral color is beautiful on my nc15-20 color. Easily applies to apples of cheeks for a youthful look. I can’t wait to try the other colors too!

Really great. Long lasting, I mainly use this for theater makeup since it has the ability to be so bold. Overall a great buy, definitely buying again.

I love these blushes. I have the DUSTY MAUVE and RASPBERRY and they are both a dream. They REALLY pigmented and a little goes a long way. I got them for less than 5 dollars which is a good deal for a cream blush. I put it on after my foundation and it is really easy to blend with a damp sponge or even with your fingers. My favorite of the two is DUSTY MAUVE because it gives such a sun-kissed glow. I will definitely be looking into adding more colors to my collection.

Here’s how I use this super-pigmented blush: I put it on UNDER my liquid foundation, blending thoroughly. It looks so natural. Then, if necessary, I add a hint of powdered blush over the foundation.

Yay! Love these! I have to admit that I am a blush fiend. I have a positively sinful number of blushes, from DS to high end. My favorites tend to be the NARS and Chanels, but hey, I love my NYC blush sticks and my Bourjois, too. But Ben Nye is in a category of their own, with super-affordable prices and a huge variety of colors. You can buy either the “Creme Colors,” or “Creme Rouge.” They are the same creamy consistency with high pigmentation; they last all day for me. Although I am long past adolescence, I have a tendency to break out but these do not cause skin problems. Because these are products designed for stage lights and performance, they come in a bewildering array of colors. I bought Raspberry, which is a lovely medium pink. I also got CR-1 Red, CL-13 Fire Red, CL-14 Blood Red, and CL-131 Fresh Cut. They are all very different reds and are easily the quality of my Nars. The one called Fresh Cut looks quite a browned red in the pan, but when applied, it is the perfect color of a lightly sun-tinted blush. You know how you look when you’ve been out for those first Spring days just a little too long? With a blush just this side of a sunburn? Perfect. I am really loving these, and would happily recommend them. I would purchase these again, although these will obviously last me until I am 83. Still…I have my eye on the Violet next.

I have been looking for a reasonably priced cream blush to use as a base for beloved La Femme blushes for the last few months when I realized the product I wanted was right under my nose (not literally, but you know what I mean). I have been a faithful wearer and lover of Ben Nye products for almost 15 years and it took me this long to realize that Ben Nye makes cream blushes that rival (read: surpasses) the quality and consistency of Stila’s Convertible Blushes and Bobbi Brown Cream Stick Blushes without the high-end price tag – especially since you will use less product so you end up getting twice as much product with Ben Nye cream blush than you do with other two blushes I have mentioned.
What I love most about the Ben Nye cream blushes is that they are very blendable, extremely pigmented and long lasting, creamy but not sticky, has a thin (but not too thin) texture/consistency, and dries to a wonderful matte finish. I also love the somewhat generic packaging which is a black pan with a screw off top so you don’t have worry that the blushes will be susceptible to air and dry out.
I purchased the following three Ben Nye Creme Rouges:
1. CR-5 Dark Tech which is a deep, kind of muted burnt orange which is similar (if not identical color) to my La Femme Blush in Russert. I use this cream blush as a base for all of my orange-based blushes.
2. CR-38 Dusty Mauve is wonderful pinky-plummy mauve blush (and it is my favorite of the 3 Ben Nye Cream Blushes that I own) and is a dead ringer for Bobbi Brown’s Creme Blush Stick in Dusty Mauve (it is ironic that they share the same name). I use this cream blush as a base for all my pink, mauve, and plum based blushes, but I often wear it alone since it gives a natural flush to my skin (and I am a caramel color Woman of Color) so that is saying a lot.
3. CR-2 Dusty Rose is a medium cool coral (a rosey dark orange) blush that is kind of intimidating in the pan but absolutely heavenly on the skin. This is an intense blush and goes on darker than it looks in the pan so use the lightest of light touches to avoid having clown cheeks. I use this cream blush as base for my coral blushes.
The Ben Nye Creme Rouges get the highest marks from me and they are yet another great product from Ben Nye. I purchased these blushes for the bargain basement price $4.99 each for .25 oz. of blush from http://www.funhousetheatrical.com.
