I received this in the Lavender Mint flavor as a gift, and I really enjoyed using it. It smells and tastes absolutely delicious–it almost has a breath-freshening quality–and it is very pretty on the lips. It isn’t the most moisturizing balm, but it isn’t the least moisturizing either. Its aesthetic qualities count for a lot.
The jar packaging is, of course, unhygienic, making this a product I keep at home to use only with clean hands. That’s a shame given how attractive this looks on the lips. This product is thin enough that it could be packaged in a squeeze tube. With that said, the jar is beautiful with its mirror lid.
I may repurchase this as a special treat (it’s like $17 for a quarter ounce). I loved receiving it as a gift and finished my jar.

I purchased the Strawberry Basil Lip Bloom. This lip balm tastes and smells wonderful. The strawberry and basil ingredients are present but are delicate so it is not overly sweet or over-powering. The packaging is beautiful and compact in size. I found the functionality of the product to be average. It imparts a nice gloss to the lips with moderate moisturization that is not long lasting. Since it is in a pot you have to dip your finger in which I am not a fan of. Obviously, you must have clean hands/nails so you don’t introduce contaminants into the pot which would not be an issue if applied once but I find I must reapply multiple times since it does not impart moisturizing that has longevity. Yes, I could use a lip brush to apply but I don’t carry a lip brush with me all the time. I did purchase the lip bloom on sale and even with that was still pretty pricey. I wouldn’t even consider it at full price. I will most certainly use it up but would not repurchase. As I mentioned the container is very attractive and once empty, I will likely repurpose it to hold a few vitamin supplements for on-the-go.

I have this in Honey Ginger, a faint but lovely smell. The texture is transparent, oily and thin so I need to apply a thick layer before bed. The result it provides me is just so so during summer months and I have to switch to other lip balms when colder weather comes.

I got suckered into this while waiting in line at Sephora, it was in one of the little bins near the checkout. I got the Citrus Lemongrass version. It feels nice on the lips, more oily than waxy. It has a pleasant lemon flavor/scent. Unfortunately it did nothing to moisturize my lips, it mainly just sat on top. At $16.50 I found it pretty disappointing. The packaging is lovely though.
