I love this product but not the packaging (hence the fours stars). The applicator is a rubber like spatula that you are meant to squeeze the product onto and then apply to the eyes. I found it didn’t deliver the product well so I ripped the spatula out. Now I just squeeze out a small amount and apply to the eye area with finger tips. Even now it is really hard to squeeze product out of the tube. I really wish this was a pump or an easier way to apply the product.
However, the product is simply amazing. It gives a radiant pearl like sheen to the eye area that instantly combats darkness in the eye area. It is super hydrating and leaves the eye area looking lifted, well rested and smooth. It’s great alone to illuminate and brighten the eye area or even under makeup like concealer etc. Love this this eye cream just not the packaging.

I didn’t really get a chance to experience what this promised because the skin under my left eye would break out when I used it.
I used it for a week and then I got a bump under my left eye so I stopped using it, because this is a weird place for me to get a pimple. Once the bump was gone I tried again but another bump showed up after 2 days so I stopped using it. It’s really too bad. I love the Idealia Peel and was hoping that everything in the line would work as well for me.
I didn’t really like the rubber spatula, I found it pulled at my skin a little, so I would just use my finger to tap it on.

I was looking for something to cover dark circles under my eyes. Bought this on a trip to Germany. I was expecting a much better product and perhaps was lulled into the display. This goes on smooth and has a hint of light peach beige. The clerk told me it has caffeine in it to help stimulate circulation around the eyes. However I found it does not really cover darkness but it seems to give off some sort of a reflective light. It definitely brings down the puffiness under eyes but it did nothing to cover any grey area you might have. I do tend to want a full coverage so maybe for someone who does not like full coverage this could work. It works fine for under makeup but again the price is high for the tiny tube and I am not sure if this is something I would buy again. VICHY makes some great products this just isn’t one of them.

I’ve tried this on my no-makeup day to see how this really performs and I’m just not impressed.
Pros: It does de-puff the area around your eyes a bit straight after application and that’s about it.
Cons: It has a slight peachy tint which doesn’t do anything to counteract or cover any darkness. Instead, it just gathers in any small lines you may have and accentuates them making you look 10 years older. The refreshing feeling it provides disappears a few hours after application. By the end of the day your undereyes feel dry, tight (not in a good way), tired and in need of something that can actually nourish them. Back to Shiseido it is! – their eye serum is pricey but at least it does what it claims and actually makes you look and feel fresh and comfortable all day (plus, added bonus, your undereye concealer will just glide on).

I stopped using this eye cream after about a week. It seems like the alcohol content is quite high and my eye area reacted rather badly to it (skin around eye area became dry, lines became obvious, and skin tone seemed to darken). I went back to my Dior sorbet eye creme to repair the damage.

The main reason for buying this was to deal with dark circles around my eyes not as anti aging product.
The silicon spatula at the end of this tube is good for controlling how much product is dispensed, but I don’t think it mimics the full effect of using a brush/finger. I had to use my finger to blend it in.
When I apply the cream, I do occasionally experience a slight smarting for a couple of seconds – so this may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin.
Long term I’m not sure if this helps with reducing dark circles or wrinkles, but it does provide an immediate brightening effect due to the reflective quality of the moisturizing cream.
One for use during the day only I think

I’m using this for a while already and see absolutely no benefits from using it. I have small wrinkles around eyes and this product doesn’t help it anyway. the packing is horrible, I don’t like that plastic finish at all. It contains pearl shiny parts which is nice, but you can buy any highlighter to have the same effect for much less price:D Plus my eyes don’t feel comfortable with this product, it use to pinch a while after application sometimes, so not very suitable for sensitive skin I would say. I like some Vichy products, but this one sucks.

When I first apply this eye cream, I notice a slight blurring of dark circles and fine lines, but the effect is temporary. I still need to use concealer, and I haven’t noticed any longer term reduction of fine lines. It’s bad enough that this eye cream is almost useless, but even worse, it has a tendency to travel into my eyes, even though I don’t apply it right up along my lash line, and it burns and irritates my eyes. (I blame the alcohol in the formula–why would you even put alcohol in eye cream?) I’m very unimpressed by this eye cream.

Vichy Idealia Eye Contour Idealizer
I got a sample size of this Eye cream to try and I used it every morning and night for one week. Scent nice. Tinted but no tint on skin. I didn’t find much difference to wrinkles, dark spots, or fine lines. Probably won’t buy the full size bottle. I prefer Lancôme Visionnaire for better results.
