   This is really pretty on my very fair skin (NC10). It’s a soft natural looking rose, and I like that you can control how much of the darker tone you can mix in. It blends well and stays all day.

   Not impressed…for a $40 blush I expected more, I guess…I purchased this on line untested…my fault. The wear time on me is not that great…I already mentioned the price…3 stars. Will pass on this lines blushes.

   I wanted a blush that was a pretty dusty rose kinda color but when i saw it online at the Charlotte Tilbury website, this was almost a brown color. I really wanted to try it anyway, so i bought it and to my surprise it really was a dusty rose color (a perfect dusty rose color!) And since the are two colors inside the pan,its like your’e buying 3 seperate blushers. Use the outer ring or the inner ring alone or you could mix them with the swish and pop motion they recommend.
   It is finely milled which makes it easy to blend and a little does go a long way. Though its on the pricier side, nonetheless, its definitely worth the investment!

   This is my third Charlotte Tilbury blush. I have Ecstasy and Love Glow as well. All the Cheek to Chic blushes have an outer ring, a “swish” shade, and an inner circle called the “pop” shade. The idea is to apply the outer color in soft circles to the cheek and pop the center shade on the apples only. However, many people just blend the two tone-on-tone colors together. Either way the blushes look lovely on the skin.

   Sex on Fire has a beautiful dusky rose heart surrounded by a ring of lighter neutral pink with subtle shimmer. There is a hint of bronze to it, but it’s a cool shade rather than a warm shade. Although these blushes aren’t matte, they are not as obviously glimmery as a highlight powder and they don’t have the glitter that some of the NARS colors have, so they are appropriate for day or evening wear. Sex on Fire is more of a mauve than my other pink Tilbury blush, Love Glow. Ecstasy is definitely warm (a ring of coppery bronze around a peach center). This particular Cheek to Chic is more pigmented than my lighter Tilbury blushes, so I apply with a lighter hand than my other shades. I use Wayne Goss Brush #2, a soft brush which is a good size for placing and blending blush colors (many blush brushes are too large for my face). The good news for medium and tan complexions is that this color will show up without having to apply as much product as you do with the lighter pink, Love Glow.

   Each Cheek to Chic is $40. It’s rare for me to pay this much for blush, but these colors were irresistible. They blend nicely into my skin and give me a healthy glow. The blush comes in an attractive oxblood plastic compact with a mirrored lid and accents in rose gold. The style of her packaging is reminiscent of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
