This one is not for me. Its not the odd consistency with the ceramide lumps sitting in a mildly unappetising way in the yellowish gel, its the kind of ‘chemical’ feel – and smell – this product has. I have other products that are more moisturising than this without the aforementioned. Think this has been discontinued now so my review is slightly obsolete, nevertheless I would not buy another one and am struggling to finish the one I have. Its a no from me.

Love love love so much. İts good for sensitive combination skins.

It’s seriously the best thing that’s happened to me. I’ve got mature, dehydrated and terribly acne prone skin and it’s the first moisturiser I have used since finding Innsifreee Green tea Balancing lotion, which was good, but not moisturising enough during wintertime and had no potent ingredients. I thought my hunt for a moisturising moisturiser without the nasties (e.g. capric/caprylic triglycerides) would last forever. The first couple of days I developed a few spots and then it’s been a dream. I heard that it would be discontinued (not sure if it’s true), so bought two back-ups for the future. It’s frustrating when you finally discover something that works and the moment your skin decides it likes it, the company moves forward – this happens a lot with Asian cosmetics, as brand loyalty is close to zero.
What I like: doesn’t break me out (except the initial reaction), moisturises, leaves my skin supple, finally hydrated and nice looking to the point that I’ve stopped using a heavier foundation. It’s the first non-basic moisturiser that contains some nutrients to my skin. After cleansing (currently Dark Angels in the evening, micellar water in the morning), I put a few drops of Hada Labo light lotion, then Cosrx snail mucin and finally this. My skin has never looked better.
What I don’t like: the jar packaging, obviously. I’ve used one jar in two months, so not terribly economical. The price in Europe, where I am now, is a bit on the steep side – paid 35 quid in Selfridges.

This is a light gel cream that leaves my skin plump and glowy. It’s surprisingly not heavy even though it’s very moisturizing. Will definitely repurchase.

I was looking for a ceramide product and got the Dr. Jart gel-cream. I had read reviews of how moisturizing it was. It goes on very moisturizing and soothing, but dries quickly and feels dry thereafter. Seems to help the integrity and balancing of the skin. So far I like it, and it fills a gap in my skincare repertoire.

I tried this last night and I can’t believe how much it changed my skin in ONE application. For real this stuff is magic. How does it work? I’m 49, my skin is oily and acne prone. Perimenopause, lots of sun exposure over the years without sunscreen, hormones changing, skin aging… the works. I have been trying a lot of different stuff lately, but most of it, while not causing breakouts or major problems, didn’t seem to do anything too dramatic either. This did. OK granted I should use it for a longer period of time before evaluating it but I can just tell. My skin just feels much calmer, soothed, it has moisture but it’s not oily. it looks plump. Blemishes that I picked at in the past are healing and look like they have almost vanished overnight. No redness. When I applied makeup this morning it went on evenly. I even put some on my super chapped lips and they are plump and soothed. What is this stuff?! I love it! I hope to God this doesn’t break me out because I feel like I want to buy a case of it! Haha.
Update: I used up a jar of this and immediately bought another one. This is by far the best facial moisturizer I’ve ever tried.
UPDATE: I’ve been using this daily for 2 months and it’s fantastic. My skin has never looked so good. I am now using the lotion as well.

I thought I would LOVE this stuff. It seemed to tick all the right boxes and the various reviews read here, amazon and on the Sephora site made it seem like HG material.
Well, it’s not for me. When I applied it, I developed contact dermatitis (which I used to think was millia years ago) and after a few days, my skin looked bumpy and irritated. There is bergamot extract and that ingredient is a skin sensitizer. Ugh…why can’t i find a gel moisturizer that won’t dry my skin out further, make it feel tight or even worse, sticky?
If you have sensitive skin this might not be for you.

Seriously, HG. So moisturizing. Skin is so soft and dewy in the morning. And absolutely no breakouts. Usually anything I would put on my face would create problems, but this one is a game changer.

I love love this product. I used Shiseido Benefiance day time and night time emulsion before this gel cream over the Shiseido day and night emulsion and my face is super moist and super soft. I well buy this again due to my dry skin screaming for this product. Shiseido alone won’t due it. I wish that I have try this out sooner. After I ran out of Shiseido I will buy this with the Ceramidin liquid.

This gel cream is a combo girl sensitive skin dream! I really love this product it has little Ceramidins that are encapsulated in little balls that burst and release moisture. It feels so good and cooling and refreshing. I use this in my last step of my skincare ritual. I wash my face then apply Hada Labo Gokiyun lotion so my products absorb better. I use a serum snail filtrate ATM, then aha cream, finally the Dr Jart+ sometimes I add the other Ceramidin products and then I seal it all with Embryolisse.
My skin is so clear and moisturized. If you have combo to sensitive skin this is a great product. I do not think people with uber dry skin will get the moisture they need from just this. I think with the other products it would work but alone it’s not enough moisture IMO. I find I can use my powder foundations again without my skin feeling so dry and tight. I will apply this sometimes just where I need it. I wish it came with a spatula or in a tube because of contamination risks but I only use this if my hands are washed and clean. Or I use a spatula I had from another cream with this.
I’m so happy with this product it does exactly what I want. It moisturized the dry spots but doesn’t conrptribute to my oily spots. It is so cooling when you apply it and it hydrates fast. It goes right into my skin and absorbs right away. I use the whole Ceramidin line and I love it! For this girl these products are just amazing for my skin. It’s clear, hydrated, and refreshed. It really is a great gel cream. You get a lot for the $$ too. I bought mine at Sephora and even though it’s pricey it’s really worth it if you have combo to sensitive skin. The scent is awesome too so fresh and clean. Love! Recommended!
