Oh boy, one of the reasons I registered on MakeupAlley was because my initial shock of using this product) I’m proudly adding it now so you won’t make my mistakes.
So, naive as I am, I decided to purchase this wonder product after watching a youtuber I really like, it wasn’t sponsored or anything so I thought it’s just god sent and I need it in my life (lol).
It states on the package that it’s a mattifying, porefilling, blurring primer that will perfect your skin to high heavens and make foundation look godlike, suitable for touch-ups, basically everything to do with your skin to look amazing,(solving world’s crisis probably too). It’s 39$ in America, I purchased it in Europe where it retails around 50$ ????. Now drumroll, it is soooo bad. It does not blur, porefill, mattify, you got me. It looks shiny, greasy, and in the spirit of being a primer – it breaks foundation, concealer, porefilling primer you put to clean up its mess- it breaks it all.
I couldn’t get my money back, they have interesting approach to consumers here. Seems like I only have a right to give my money foolishly believing information stated on the packaging (my bad), but shop or manufacturer has no obligation to deliver their promises.
A word about packaging, it feels cheap.
In conclusion, if you see Lancôme blur and go stick in the shop, run in the different direction.
