MAC blush series are very popular in Japan. I’m using this to make blush gradation on top of cheek. Pressed powder type can be put on the brush uniformity and apply easily. This shimmers makes you elegant.

Beautiful blush. Slightly bluish cool pink at the base and warm golden shimmer on top. The shimmer is fine, and looks amazing on the skin. This is the sort of blush that I can imagine looking good on many skin tones. Mind that it looks different in different light.

I just bought this blush and I do like it a lot. I’ve owned NARS orgasm and while they may be a bit similar, they are definitely not the same. This color shows up as a deeper pink on me and the gold shimmer is noticeable which I love. Not in a disco ball way, but in a highlighting kind of way. I love anything with gold shimmer in it. This is a blush that should definitely be applied with a light hand or it could look ruddy – for reference, I’m about NC30. I’m probably closer to NC25 as it’s winter and I’m paler. I need to make sure there isn’t any other redness on my face before I apply this or like I said, it’ll look ruddy. I’m sure this would look really pretty on me during the summer and on tanner/darker skin tones.
As far as packaging goes, I dislike the new blush packaging and I find opening it annoying. I like their old packaging much better.
All in all, I do like this blush, but I think it may be more of a summertime color as I think it’s prone to making lighter skin tones appear ruddy.

This is my second blush from the Mineralized line, I also own Gentle and love it. This is no exception it’s a great blush. To me it’s not the same shade as Orgasim which I own so the purchase was totally justified in my opinion;) It has way more pink almost a bright or deep pink with gold interlaced through out. This goes on so smooth and is very pigmented so a little goes a long way with this colour. I put this on in the am and it lasted almost all day without a touchup. So that is very good as I’m combo skinned more oily than dry and it doesn’t fade away on me at all. With the gold in it you get a luminous look so I like that I can skip highlighter with this because it really does make my cheeks look luminous. It’s on the pricey side but I love blushers so I don’t mind considering its a great formula and it lasts! Also it’s very pigmented so you do not need a lot at all.
This will be an awesome Spring shade as well. I’m on the cool side NW20 and this goes well with my green eyes and blonde hair. I would buy more blushes from this line because you get a good amount, they’re highly pigmented, and last! Such a beautiful shade. Recommended!

Sadly, MAC Mineralize blush in Petal power did not work well for me. Petal power was a super pigmented coral blush with a strong golden frost. Some say the sheen on this blush is subtle, but on me it wore quite frosty. It is a beautiful, high quality blush for sure. It is soft like butter and finely milled. It broke my heart that it did not agree with my skin type. I have combo/oily skin with some larger pores on the tops of my cheeks and nose that drive me positively crazy!! Petal power blush when applied went right into my pores causing them to look WAY magnified as well as any other imperfections on my face. I am a MSF(Mineral Skinfinish) and highlighter addict and have never had my pores look as big as they did when I wore this blush. Rarely do I return a product to MAC, but with this particular shade I felt, had no choice. I wanted to love Petal Power so badly. I say if you suffer from larger pores or don’t care much for frosty blushers, steer clear of MAC Petal Power.

I love this blush. It’s so pretty with a bit of shimmer but not too much. Some people say it’s similar to nars orgasm but I have that one too but this one is still different. It is a really good good color for spring and summer and gives you a healthy glow. Many think MAC products are expensive but they last a very long time so you get a lot for your money and this blush is very pigmented. I apply it with my real techniques blush brush.

I am LOVING MAC’s A Fantasy of Flowers collection. If you didn’t already know (I’m sure pretty much everyone does) its the Spring 2014 collection. I purchased Petal Power over Azalea in the Afternoon because I don’t really have a shade similar to this in my current collection. I’ve seen a few things online that compare this to NARS ‘Orgasm’ but unfortunately I do not own Orgasm, boo.
Anyway, this is a warm coral colour with a gold shimmer running through it, and is has a quite a frosted finish owing the fact it is a mineralize formula. Its completely gorgeous on the cheeks, it gives you a real glow and its very brightening, and the pigmentation is INTENSE. I cannot say how important it is to go lightly with this blush if you are fair like me or even 2 or 3 shades darker cus its pretty powerful (its not Petal Power for nothing, you know!).
Mostly though, I love the intensity because this blush lasted a whole day at work for me, which is like eight or nine hours. A lot of people also complimented me on looking so healthy and glowy when wearing this blush, which I never generally get!
Overall, if there was one product from the collection that you have to buy, it would be this blush. I absolutely adore it, and sincerely hope it is made permanent otherwise I’m gunna have to buy a backup, as I have used this pretty much everyday since I got it. Its amazing, I would recommend and repurchase.

MAC ‘Petal Power’ is one of two blushes recently released in MAC’s A Fantasy of Flowers collection this spring. It’s a mineralize blush and as such, has a slight sheen or shimmer to it. Petal Power is a peachy-pink blush with a golden shimmer or iridescence to it. It’s similar to NARS Orgasm but different enough to warrant a purchase. I find that Petal Power is more pink and somewhat more vibrant than NARS Orgasm, which is slightly more sheer. It’s a beautiful blush and one of the nicer blushes MAC has released in a while. It’s ideally suited for fair to medium skintones.
