This was one of the foundations I bought hoping to find my HG foundation.it’s name was very promising and seemed to be a great choice for my dry,dehydrated skin.I love moisturizing foundations and I love luminous/dewy makeup.it claims to have macadamia oil and sweet almond oil so it seemed to be nourishing.it’s 13$ here but some shades were on a sale for 8 $ so I had to choose shade number 9 as it was the only discounted light shade even though I thought number 10 or 11 would have been better matches for my N15 skin.shade number 9 was a bit light for me but not too light because it oxidates a little after an hour.it has a slight yellow undertone and I think can be a perfect match for NC10 skins
I like it’s packaging,while being a simple tube,it looks classy but I was so surprised when I first tried it on my skin that I couldn’t care about it’s good looking tube.it’s NOT luminous by any means! it’s almost matte!! and doesn’t feel moisturizing at all! I don’t understand why they have called it Luminous Moisturizing Foundation.they have claimed that it’s the best for dry and very dry skin but that’s not true.I’d say it’s better for normal skin.even though I had used moisturizer before this foundation,it was difficult to blend it on my super dry skin and it clinged to some of my dry patches
I didn’t like it at all but I can’t call it a bad foundation,I gave it to my mom who has normal/combination skin(slightly oily on some parts,slightly dry on other parts),she liked it a lot.a little amount of this foundation goes a loooong way and is enough to cover the whole face so I guess a tube can last more than one’s first expectations.it has a good buildable coverage,my mom managed to cover her freckles with this foundation without using concealer.it didn’t sink inside her lines and lasted for a long time on her face
It also has SPF15, not enough to replace sunscreen cream,still it’s good to have some extra protection
All in all it’s a good foundation considering it’s price but I can’t give it more than 3 lippies because it doesn’t deliver what it promises,no luminous finish,no moisturizing effect and not good for very dry skin
I have to repurchase it for my mom but not for myself. still I’d like to try Note’s Detox foundation
