This is a really great product. I have now started to use this religiously. Almay smart shade takes the guesswork out of matching your foundation and skin tone. It is great for even coverage and is a fast application, it is kinda the consistency of a tinted moisturizer, I am gonna stick with this. I only take a star off because the coverage is light to moderate, and it claims it’s moderate. I don’t rec if your have acne or blemishes you wanna cover.

On a whim I reached for this product in my old fashioned caboodle. It was given to me as a gift to try. Without a beauty blender I dabbed a teeny amount on the t-zone or what is called the butterfly area, cheeks, forehead and a speck on the chin. I blended lightly with the ring and pinky finger and then completed the rest with a good foundation brush by Avon. Immediately I saw remarkable results. The shade blended just right into my skin without a hint of discoloring. It provided full coverage without caking hiding some of my microdermabrasion ie “Sun spots”. After seeing the results I finished the look with ID mineral veil lightly using a fan brush. All I can say is fabulous results. Lasted 5 good hours on the skin before washing it off. In conclusion Almay smart shade is as great as high quality boutique foundation and I’ve never been pleased with Almay products. This should say allot.
Rated 5 out of 5 by HowieGirl from Perfect foundation I bought this product on my first visit to the house and skin tone was really yellow or black and the tips were really stuck. But I wore a beautiful dress and I wanted to take my own compliments off to my men to see what such makeup there is, I tried black here I applied it so over I noticed it is slightly lighter than usual but it remained to the full coverage. After about 1-3 coats applied over my eyes I looked like a pantomime mom!! The colors and finish are so great.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kynn1848 from Glancing at this foundation is amazing! OMG I really need a makeup applicator and this is the best one. I am now trying other options too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Verloq from Beautifully flawless in my eyes I used this product very seriously. I stopped short of finishing my routine and I didn’t want to do it again. Once the spots started coming off, I turned it on quickly so I couldn’t stand the effects of my eyes. The product definitely helped some others I looked around for that day but I had to stop because after all I feel ill. So I would buy another if I can.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stacy41 from I absolutely loved this foundation and LOVE IT! The only issue was that it was thin and after being paired with a duplex it has left my face completely burnt and after it dried out I wanted to make a new face and mix it with a mattifying cream like this, but I didn’t think my face would adapt and didn’t find out much about this stuff until I gave it to another veteran makeup test…which just happened to be a day after I started using it. I’m amazed I would be willing to order anything else to achieve this result but we’ll see.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Knicka from Excellent foundation I bought this product as a gift to see if my skin responds and performs as intended. I began noticing texture changes over time.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Melissa32 from True Colors – Everything looks GREAT! I have two major blemishes on my hands. Inflammatory, acne, and fine lines that make me turn a dark red and black without being able to change colors. I use Almay Foundation, this foundation is made from a tree oil based foundation,

Another Hot n flashy recommendation that definitely worked poorly on my skin. I bought the light medium which should have worked with my skin tone. This applies patchy no matter how much I blended, immediately settled into lines, and turned orange. Not even worth the 10$.
Rated 5 out of 5 by oldkelb from Perfect purchase I bought this product on iGrip for the first time since moving to this location and it works with my skin tone and I was constantly putting on sunscreen, special eye cream, body pillows and was vaping something that did not add to my lip flare. The only thing that kept me going were the pale skin tones which should not have kept me putting out and rubbing the right amount of oil into my face, oils does NOT hurt my skin or hold me off, but you get the picture.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ablas123 from Nice application Perfect application for my eyes and used it over my Ultra 3OX eyeshadow. Works very well on most in the sun on the small light areas in my face so I can afford to buy a bigger size. I didn’t see any benefit but I am working on my size up so I can look faster on them but even when I do get a little greasy I still get rid of it and don’t have to worry about it drying my face again. I have some undereye to look at after using this product and now get my Cheeky Pown with little pink streaks in it and maybe a dark green to let things break out.
Rated 5 out of 5 by SteveToy88 from I bought this product from Reducer Co. for the eyes all over my body by doing TEXICO calls. Well put it on and there is no tugging on the lid so it looks good. I have two black cheeks that I was mad at for weeks and the third is great. Because my eyes really rub off after putting out some oil on them it wouldn’t feel like oil slipping over my face for another week and I might be going with TEXICO back.
Rated 4 out of 5 by biabaletic from Simply amazing… Simply amazing… Better than Tara & Mimosa i thought I would trust this brand but so far i have just 2 orders. I am loving this mascara and scent. Well put in two lashes each while everyone else is wearing the lipstick, i find it works very well for all my shades. For those trying to make a choice and must have lashes or try some other mascara/drug, My friend and I are playing around with this! A very unique product from our friends at Reducer Co. with amazing price and a great selection. I’ll be buying more just in the

I decided to use this again during a budget makeup spree. I had used it for years ( old formula) and loved it. This is crap. It’s greasy and slightly waxy, and it broke me out horribly. I am 51, so I’ve not had acne for a long time. In fact before using this I had practically flawless skin. Not now. I have a face full of whiteheads, and even the Rimmel 24 hour did not do this. Despite being cheap and looking like a full face of Merle Norman from back in the day. My advice run from this if you have sensitive skin. It’s awful.

Turned to orange ( I bought lightest shade), semi sheer coverage. Went on nicely is about the best I can say for this. Might even work with building the color, but the bizarre orange color change makes it fly into the garbage can.

I picked this up because I was looking for a summer foundation that needed minimal work to apply- ie. no beauty blender/brushes. First off, SPF 15 is a JOKE. It does nothing. It’s a ploy to be able to jack up the price. Don’t think you won’t need to wear something under it with a higher SPF. Same goes for SPF 20 or 25- just a general point.
Anyway, this foundation goes on very easily with minimal blending. Coverage wise, it’s not great. If you’re having a good skin day and want to show it off without going bare, this is the foundation for you. It’s slightly buildable, but eventually it just feels cakey and greasy, so minimal application and then going in with a higher coverage concealer is your best bet. It doesn’t cling to dry patches either or oxidise horribly, which is nice. For sure set this with a powder though, just to help it hold up.
This foundation has a SLIGHT shimmer to it, so if matte is your thing, this might not be for you, but I found it to be really subtle. Then again, I set with a matte powder and spray, so take that with a grain of salt. This also has quite a sticky finish- even with powder. It never goes away completely, but once it has a while to settle, it’s not too bad. Honestly, this isn’t a bad product by any means. It’s just rather purpose specific? I wouldn’t use this in winter, I wouldn’t use it if my skin wasn’t looking great, and I wouldn’t wear it for a going-out look. But as a day foundation- going to work, going to the beach, running errands, it’s light and nice, if applied with a light hand. So really, it’s not too bad.

Pros: 1. Good coverage (I have a red birthmark all over my face and in 1 coat is enough to reduce the redness. 2 coats almost completely eliminates it) The new formula (with the three drops) does match to undertone. However, the old formula always has a slight yellow undertone. 2. stays on a long time. the coverage does decrease but I haven’t worn it when I was outside sweating so I bet if you weren’t sweating it wouldn’t even fade
Cons: 1. While you can wear more than one layer, once you start layering the foundation doesn’t feel weightless anymore. 2.It’s to be expected with a makeup that stays on this long, but it’s really hard to get off. Even with double-cleansing you do have to scrub your face to get every bit off. 3. It transfers like crazy unless you use a setting spray. I tried setting it with powder, and with water, and while it transferred less than with nothing, you really need an actual spray to get it to stay in place

this “foundation” is more like a bb cream in terms of coverage.
I love that it is shade- matching so you don’t need to go through the trouble of testing and finding your perfect shade.
I used this back when I first started playing with foundations and didn’t know anything yet. I them ventured out into makeup world trying everything I saw that appealed to me, so I set this aside for 3 or so years.
this product really does not get enough love, idk why that is.
if u like lite makeup/bb cream days, definitely pick this up and give it a go

This stuff does actually match my skin tone very well, with minimal effort put into application. I wouldn’t call it full coverage, don’t know that Almay does either. It’s great for a quick look. I actually am highly satisfied with this. It actually does look good. I hope it keeps up the good work! I got it in shade 200, light/medium. I can see the medium being too dark or possibly orange as previous reviewers have said, but for my skin tone the 200 light/medium is perfect! Would definitely repurchase, and may actually do so sooner than later in case they decide to discontinue… EBay is a great place to buy, btw… And I am totally not affiliated with them (just mildly addicted…) And that is all! ????
