Relief in a tube (or sachet in my case). Got this online with a whole bunch of Dermalogica samples and this sachet sample has lasted for 4 uses. It’s a slightly cooling herbal/minty-smelling gel which you apply generously around the eye area. Despite the essential oils in this and overall ‘mintiness’ I didn’t experience any irritation or stinging. Initially I didn’t find much use for it as on normal days it doesn’t do a great deal and my eye makeup balls up when applying over this, however used on a morning when my eyes were slightly puffy, it did help soothe the area and make my skin feel more ‘awake’. Also noticed a very slight difference on the puffiness itself, although nothing major. Rather than tissue off as the instructions state I decided to rinse off with cool water to prevent issues with makeup and found it still worked as well. For reference I left on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Without rinsing the only way I could use this is on a night…but the eye area issues I have are confined to the odd mornings so it would defeat the whole purpose applying on a night.
A nice treat for occasional use, I still have a sachet of this spare and will keep in the refrigerator to cool it down and hopefully make the cooling effect even better (works with everything else so why not). Like most Dermalogica products I do find it slightly overpriced and would probably only purchase if on sale. For a fraction of the price I’m much happier purchasing the handy trial sachets on e-bay or elsewhere online, as and when required rather than worrying about trying to use up a whole tube before it expires.

I love constantly trying out new stuff – usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora)

Used this eye cream (together with a moisturizer from the same brand) when I traveled to a cold and dry country and came back with a perfectly nourished eye area. My body on the other hand was itching uncontrollably from cold rash.
This eye lotion while lightweight was able to hydrate well, even in a cold country.
I used this with a combination of 4 other Dermalogica products. You can see full review and recommendation at
