First impression review
I found this in a shop in HK and became awestruck at its ingredients. Out of all the non-exfoliating body lotion, this is one of the best body lotion that can even double as a very good face moisturizer. This is a better version of Cerave PM. It contains niacinamide, tranexemic acid, boswellia, licorice, ceramide complex – same as the one in cerave, protein, jojoba, grape leaf extract. From the main website, the site states that niacinamide, tranexemic acid and licorice are encapsulated in liposomes. That means better penetration of ingredients into skin. I don’t know why this isn’t found on the back of the lotion.
The texture is a bit firmer than a milky emulsion, kind of like Cerave PM. In fact, this is better than Cerave PM because it contains more beneficial ingredients and costs less per ounce. It also makes skin feel smoother, softer and more moisturized than Cerave. This also feels great on lips which is a refreshing change from the usual greasy lip balms.
Since I’ve used this for a week, can’t comment about whitening but this moisturises well in summer without leaving sticky residue on skin.
The only downside is this tends to pill if you rub your skin. I applied this after a toner, and it pilled.
