I bought this micro tattoo eyebrow pen at the recommendation of another MUA’er. It was $9.00 US on the company webside, but now I see it’s gone up to $12.00. It’s a pen with eyebrow ink infused felt tip that’s got four “tines” at the tip. The ink saturates the “tines” and you apply it like a tiny little comb to your eyebrows. I ordered the Black/Brown which is a little dark, but I can make it work with very light strokes.
My eyebrows have gotten sparse over the years and I needed something to put back the “hairs”. I like them to be fairly thick, so I still follow the outline of my natural brow shape and then start filling it in. I have to be careful not to overdo it by doing one section at a time and not going over and over it again. As i said, it’s darker than my brows, so I use it sparingly. The product would have been perfect if the color were just a little bit lighter.
So I brush my brows up, outline the brow with my tried and true WnW pencil which is a true black/brown. Then i go in with the pen, then a blend everything out with the AnastasiaDip Brow. Yes, three products to get just the right look. PITA but what price beauty? Would I buy it again? No. Is it a quality product that really stays on? Yes. Coconut oil got it all off, two applications. This is a real ink, ladies. It does not smudge or smear. The felt tips are precise and the product delivery is steady.
