I’m in my mid-40s so I feel I’m qualified to review an eye cream, not that I think they do much. I got a sample of this and it seemed to keep my thin, dry, eczema-prone under eye skin more moisturized than my face moisturizer alone so I splurged and bought a jar of it about 6 weeks ago. Well, the jar is at least half-empty now as I seem to need a lot of this cream throughout the day. I use thick, gel eye drops non-stop as I have severe dry eye so I have to deal with my eyes (including reapplying concealer, etc.) more than most, though.
I can say this product has *not* made my near-chronic eczema worse and it possibly has helped with morning puffiness most days (or I’ve just gotten lucky) but that’s about it and I do use this around my entire eye area at least 3 x day. I think the caffeine and moisturizing properties are what are working the best for me but I in no way notice a huge difference and am wearing just as much concealer as ever. I also have rosacea and severe allergies which doesn’t help with genetic, dark under eye circles so maybe I am not a good candidate for eye creams in general.
I think this product is worth a try if you have actually aged and are trying to look more refreshed, but save your receipt as I’m not sure I look any different. If you are in your 20s, please put eye cream money in a savings account (just saying)! A good moisturizer was all I ever needed before the big 4-0 and I still don’t have etched in wrinkles, so perhaps this is best used as a pricey, hypoallergenic primer for your concealer? I sure don’t sound very confident about Confidence in an Eye Cream.
Update: I tossed what was left of this product due to my dry eyes feeling more irritated and I look exactly the same without it! Not worth it for me.

I was also surprised by this! It’s rather thick and more cream like consistency than I’m used to. No color or tint to it but it makes my under eye nicely primed for concealer. Only using a sample packet so we’ll see how it helps my dark circles but so far it’s nice.

I’m surprised by how much I like this cream. I’m always looking for a good eye cream that brightens and won’t lead my concealer to crease. I’ve tried so many, and even creams that aren’t for eyes specifically, and this one scores really high. When applied it feels only moderately moisturizing, but to my surprise it really helped my concealer go on more smoothly and gave an overall brighter look to my eyes. Based on the ingredients I don’t think it’s the ultimate in terms of anti-aging (if that’s what your looking for) though it does have some nice moisturizing ingredients (shea butter, squalane). The price seems reasonable for the amount in the jar, and a little goes a long way.

No anti-aging ingredients but helps with appearance alot. The main thing this does (and it does it well) is keep under-eyes beautifully fresh and well hydrated for hours. The texture is just right, very thick but sinks in quickly and a little goes a long way. My undereye area stays looking fresh all day which is something lighter eye creams can’t do. I found it similar to my memory of the much pricier Bobbi Brown eye cream. And MUCH than the over hyped Ole Henriksen Banana Bright eye cream, which was far too thick and dry and irritated my eyes. Would probably repurchase but I keep trying different brands at the moment.

love love love this stuff.
I used to glop on the concealer on my undereyes. this year I started to notice that it was making me look even more tired, that my dark circles were coming through ( when they were usually easily covered) and that it was even settling into my fine lines making me appear older and tired. I got this stuff, and noticed a big difference on the first use. not only was my under eye area not as dry, I could go without concealer for the first time in years. I never wear concealer anymore, and I look more alert and awake. bit pricey but worth every cent.

This is a moisturizing eye cream without much in the way of actives and no sunscreen. It is surprisingly good. It is very emollient, but not as greasy as Shiseido Benefiance (which I do like), has no scent I can detect, and does not ball up under concealer and makeup. The price is reasonable. A little goes a long way, so it will last.
