Usually body oils are not for me since they end up greasy on top of my skin. This oil sinks in to my skin really nicely. I can even use it in the morning before work without getting oily during the day. The scent is not very strong but this is something I prefer anyways.
I overall recommend it however it is not moisturizing enough for my hands, elbows and knees that are very dry. On the other parts of my skin it works perfectly!

This is a delicious moisturizing oil. The smell of lavender is fresh and relaxing. The texture of the oil is quite good in terms of moisturization and is not greasy or heavy. It absorbs very quickly into the skin. I would repurchase this product.

I bought this oil several times and I use it for a lot of purposes: as a massaging oil, after the shower, make-up removal, for my hair…
I love the smell and contrary to another reviewer I think it is quite strong. But I noticed that the smell changed over time and sometimes you get a charge with a slightly different smell. It is nature, after all. 😉

Way better than body lotion. I like that it comes in a glass container instead of plastic with thalates (sp) and its ingredients:
Sweet Almond (Prunus Dulcis) Oil, Sesame (Sesamum Indicum) Oil, Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) Oil, Fragrance (natural essential oils), Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, Coumarin

After being bowled over by the Seabuckthorn and Birch oils, I thought I’d be totally loving this. Unfortunately the Lavender Body Oil is a weak smelling, thin oil that doesn’t moisturise as well as the rich, creamy Seabuckthorn. I like strong lavender scents so this might appeal to scent-sensitive folks who want organic, all-natural and very mildy-scented relaxing body oils. The quality is still there, it’s all natural oils they’re using and not useless silicones other than this, it just doesn’t have the wow factor for me.

In the winter my legs get super dry and itchy- they have that really deep, beyond surface itch, that thin body lotions just can’t touch. I’m at the point where I’m using either body oils or whipped shea butter with some added fragrance oil (which I’ve gotten from various sellers on Etsy). I was excited to find this in Marshall’s, for my winter moisturizing. The oil has a nice, straight up, herbal lavender scent. It does moisturize my winter legs well, and comforts the deep dryness and itch. I put it on before I go to bed at night. As it’s straight up oil it does not sink in immediately, so it’s best to put on and then cover with long pajama pants, so that you don’t get oily spots on your clothes or sheets. The ingredients are fairly simple: sesame oil, sweet almond oil, and lavender oil, plus a couple of preservatives. I’m sure that if I was so inclined I could mix up my own more cheaply (in the long haul, anyway), but I am absolutely not inclined. I got a big bottle (12 ounces!) at Marshall’s for 12.99. Totally worth it, especially since it takes less product than a lotion.
My only real complaint, and the thing that would probably keep me from repurchasing, is the packaging. This comes in a flip-top shampoo-type bottle. For oil, it’s a nightmare. It pours out fast, and some always ends up dripping down the bottle. My bottle is permanently oily. This really could use a pump.

This product is listed for massage but I use it on my legs after shaving, and it gives this awesome sheen. It holds the moisture there for two days. PERFECT for winter. I have tried alot of body oils such as avon, neutragena, even generic infused oils but this is truely discreet in smell so its not cloying. Its one of the only ole products I have tried that have performed really well.
