I like the concept of this concealer but not the execution.
First, we all need different attributes from a concealer – they’re not all equal anymore. And so finding a product is trial and error for all of us.
That being said, this is NOT for those with significant dark circles- there isn’t enough pigment. It also isn’t so good for concealing blemishes or dark spots for the same reason.
It IS good for someone with dry skin who has some redness around their cheeks from rosacea and maybe a little under eye discoloration.
You can easily diffuse the product across your skin because of that little moisturizing dot in the center.
The color did not map to the foundation – I think the idea was that it “compliments” the foundation and doesn’t match it – but that makes the color choice a little difficult.
I like it because at my age, Shape Tape, etc. looks awful.
But if you need serious concealing, skip it entirely.

Another HORRIBLE product from Neutrogena! I honestly don’t think I will buy anything of theirs again… While the color “light 20” IS actually light and a nice color for me (where some of their other “light” products are a DARK TAN ORANGE color!), the product itself is a disaster. I have the DRYEST skin in the world, and while the texture of this concealer IS very hydrating, there is one MAJOR problem with it… it won’t cover a damn thing!!!!! You could literally use the ENTIRE stick of this stuff and STILL have no coverage. It’s like a (bad!) magic act. No matter how much you put on, it’s like NOTHING is there!! I have never encountered this before, because I’m one of those people who NEVER has the issue of something disappearing on my skin because it’s so dry!! So imagine my SHOCK at this! It won’t cover blemishes, redness, dark circles… what is the point of it? Who could use this? Someone with literally NOTHING to cover on their face? Sadly, this is yet ANOTHER product of theirs that I threw right in the garbage, because that’s what it is!! 🙁

I think this a very nice drugstore concealer. It glides on very easily. I bought the lightest shade which was a little too light and the next darker shade which is slightly too dark. That’s my complaint about a lot of concealers. Also if you have dark circles I don’t think it would provide enough coverage. But for me it’s just enough. I think it sets a little but remains creamy on the skin which I like around the eye area. I trust Neutrogena for quality products. This is no exception.

I tried the Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer as a possible substitute for the discontinued Benefit Fake Up that I loved. As far as color goes, I got the Light (as a MAC 20), and it was perfect. I did moisturize well before applying, which I think was essential, as it turned out better than expected and even wore well. Without the moisturizing pre-treatment, I think it would have been too dry. Fake Up it ain’t, much less emollient than Fake Up, but surprisingly good regardless.

This stuff is the worst concealer I’ve ever used. It actually caused dark circles under my eyes and I’m hoping it goes away .

For a drugstore concealer, this is too expensive but it also works as a skincare so maybe we should give Neutrogena a break. And while we give them a break because of quality, why did they mess up in the packaging? The clear and transparent cap is nothing to write home about and it is actually a turn-off. I use the Light shade and it works great for my NC30 coloring. I had reservations about flash back in the pictures and to the contrary, it looks great in pictures. I like the moisturizing effect of it too. Concealers usually make my under eyes look bad and feel dry once they are rinsed off. I also suffer from very bad allergies in my left eye. This didn’t cause any problems. So it is a winner in that it covers well and beneficial for under eyes.

I really like this concealer for under eyes. if you like a stick concealer, this one is the best one I have tried. I put it on quite thick and let it set there for a few minutes and then I rub it in with my fingers. I dont find it sets in my creases and really “brightens” up the under eye area….Other stick under eye concealers tend to make me look fifty years older but this one does not….Usually at the end of the day, my concealer may have settled into lines and caked up a bit, but this one does not do that. Coverage could be a little better but I’m pretty darn happy with this. Best concealer I have tried so far!

This reminds me of Chantecaille’s Bio-lift concealer that is in a stick concealer with a center that’s emollient. This is very creamy and doesn’t cover that well. I bought in light for my NC20 skin and that is a good match. It works ok on dark spots but does not work on my dark circles. It creases right away and fades immediately. Just like Chantecaille’s. But at least it’s not $69.

I returned this to cvs today. It’s not enough coverage for me, and I can’t figure out how to use this with a corrector without having too much product under my eyes.

This goes on smoothly, but the color is not peach enough for my dark circles and it does not last long because it is too emollient.
