Not to be confused with Zen White Summer, which has similar notes, name and almost the same packaging but is lighter and fresher. This is the spicier, sexier version. It reminds me of Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood because of the strong lasting coriander/amber/musk base.
Initially I get a sharp freshness like bergamot and pepper, with hints of face cream (jasmine and bergamot), and powdery iris. After an hour or two its all coriander, amber, and musk. Just like VW Boudoir I find White Heat sexy but cloying as intense coriander/musk/amber gets on my nerves. Actually I brought Zen White Heat by mistake. Because of the similar packaging I thought it was Zen White Summer that I’d brought a few years previous.
Family – Fresh Spicy Floral
Top Notes – bergamot, raspberries, cranberries, coriander.
Heart Notes – magnolia, freesia, blue rose, jasmine, peony.
Base Notes – musk, sandalwood, amber.
