First things first Nude Dip doesn’t stand on its own as a palette for me because all of the colors are shimmery and apart from the darkest too close in depth to provide any contrast.
To be fair the shadows are incredibly buttery, blendability is amazing and they do not fade all day. The shimmer is very pretty in an aethereal way but has to be used in moderation or it can easily turn to a shiny mess. I absolutely have to lay down some matte crease and transition first to make it work. This is my everyday look paired with pencil liner, mascara, rosey blush and dusty pink lipstick. I choose between sparkly goldy champagne, sparkly pinky beige and sparkly silvery taupe for my lid. I use the darkest over my pencil liner or as a part for shimmery smokey eyes. Oh and the colors and the first row look lovely as highlighters to match your eye makeup.
That said I don’t believe it’s worth the price. If it was 50% off I’d say go get it. Cocoa Mirage is so much more of a workhorse and contains 10gr of product instead of 6gr you get with Nude Dip.

I was lucky enough to find this at a CCO for $33. I’d gladly pay that again for this gem. I’m not sure it’s worth the $88 at Sephora, though.
This is a fantastic palette that gives me a polished, neutral, barely-there-makeup look. The colors are nicely pigmented and don’t lean too warm or too cool on me (I’m NW15/cool undertones with blue eyes). It’s truly neutral. The shimmer is nice too–it’s definitely work appropriate but could be jazzed up a little with some dramatic eyeliner or a fun bright lip.
The texture is also great. It’s easy to blend and it lasts all day on me (with a primer of course). The colors are well pigmented. The colors themselves are dupable, but the texture isn’t.
While this is a fantastic, gorgeous palette, it’s way overpriced. Yes, you do get a lot of product (0.35 oz compared to 0.18 oz for Charlotte Tilbury), but it’s still a pretty steep price tag.

BEST EYESHADOW QUAD I HAVE EVER PURCHASED!!!
So I “PURCHASED WITH GREAT HESITATION”: It might be boring? People love it, but they also love a nude lip, and a nude lip makes me look like Boojie Boy from early Devo video’s.
OUTCOME: NOT BORING, AWESOME. This purchase has brought my almost non-stop shopping to a FULL-STOP.
MASCARA + LIGHTS = ACTION. YOU HAVE DETONATED THE GLAMOUR + THE SHEEN OF FRESH MINTED CASH AND OLD GOLD. OF DIAMONDS + PEARLS. OF CAVIAR + CREME FRAICHE+ TOAST POINTS (NO CRUSTS) = ACTION IS ALREADY HEADED YOUR WAY!

I gasped when I first got this & opened the case. It’s beyond beautiful. I hated dipping the brushes in and messing it up! These shadows are gorgeous neutral colors I can use everyday. Who doesn’t want to feel a little special every single day? Ha:) I think the little applicators that come in the palette are really handy & work great.

I die a little every time I use this quad it’s so amazing! I have honeymoon, cocoa mirage & nude dip. I’d say cocoa mirage is the most mature “grown” of the 3 most conservative of the 3. Nude dip is conservative too. But more shimmery still work day appropriate & Honeymoon is more edgy w wine room tones. I bought mine off eBay all 3 for significantly less than FRP of $85 I paid USD$64 but it’s real (authenticity) the packaging was impeccable Art Deco copper w gold accents, brown dust jacket, & wonderful usable practical “tools”/applicators I actually use the hell out of. Orchid haze is my next intended. The shades are shimmery but I don’t go at all by the “Matte for 39+” u can wear THESE shiners at any age. Forgot UD Naked i forgot all about my MAC/UD e/s these are the bomb you will forever forget your other makeup. Tom Ford is magickal.

These eye shadows truly are special. I don’t know how to explain how they are, but I will try. While they seem very reflective, the formula is very thin. The texture doesn’t look bulky at all if that makes any sense. It is very smooth, clean, brightening and not too reflective that you can’t wear them during the day. I’m a banker. I think they are appropriate because they are so darn gorgeous. I have VERY hooded eyes and I am 33 years old. I usually steer clear from shimmery shades, but these are my prized possession.

Very nice and basic eye-shadows. I love their shimmery neutral colors and the package is convenient and lux! I just wish they were more stable on my eyelids.

I missed out on Nude Dip when it first came out, when the hype resulted in long waitlists and it was sold out everywhere. Subsequently I read a number of critical reviews, stating it was “all glitter” and a “disco ball shimmerbomb” so I thought I’d better pass on it anyway. The following year Nude Dip became a permanent addition to the line and I decided to buy it after testing it on the back of my hand at a TF counter, and loving the silky formula and the four beautiful complementary shades (see photo). Since then it’s been over a year and I have used this quad, alongside Cocoa Mirage, the most often of all of my (large) eye shadow palette collection! I am about to hit pan on the medium taupe shade and I have just bought a backup! So this palette is definitely worth every penny for me. I apply these smooth shades without a primer and really enjoy how nicely the colors wear, how easy to blend they are and how well they last without creasing throughout the day. For reference I am light skinned/neutral leaning cool NW15 with green grey eyes and I dislike frosty shadows because they remind me of the 80s and I find it aging on mature eye lids. But Nude Dip is the most elegant, understated luminous shimmer I have seen in an eye shadow. Highly recommended.

I have medium skin tone and love shimmers! So this palette did everything I wanted from a palette. Showed up great against my Latina skin and wore well with no creasing. The colors blend seamlessly and are subtle enough for an easy daytime look. I do feel like this is a splurge for sure but one I can justify because I am a total makeup junkie. I personally loved this palette and can’t wait to buy TF Coca Mirage.

This is my favorite TF quad, Cocoa mirage at a close second. The colors blend so freaking seamlessly, I just cannot. It is my everyday palette, I use ALL the colors. The darkest color works beautifully as a liner. They are so smooth and so pigmented. I just treated myself and bought some TF eye brushes to enhance the experience of application. This palette pretty much flatters every eye color. I love it for my deep brown eyes. It’s just gorgeous. So worth the $80. The pans have SO much product, I’ve had for almost 6 months and have barely made a dent.
