There’s a lady on youtube who explains how to best use this if you search ‘NYX powder liner’
It is really good
Idk why people love Guerlain’s but not this. I think the applicator here is better for outlining lashlines while Guerlain’s is better for waterline.

This is the worst product! Major fallout and that’s not even worth trying to play around with it. Going in the trash since I got it on clearance- now I know why it was on clearance at Ulta.

I really love this liner. It is a deep sultry black color that looks like soot and is great for smoky sultry “bedroom eyes” looks. You do need a little patience with the product, however.
If you’re first starting off with this product, I suggest to do your eyes first, then follow with foundation. there will be fallout. and it will leave streaks as you try to wipe it off.
My favorite way to use it is on my waterline and lower lash line. I kind of smudge it with the slim doe foot-like applicator in between my lower lashes and it creates an instant sexy bedroom eyes look. I imagine it would be great for smoky eyes as well, but unfortunately, I’m not that skilled at those.
The staying power with this is pretty great. I still had some product on my lower lash line the next day after a shower! This liner stays all day in the waterline as well, though you do have to watch out for the inevitable black eye boogers in your inner corners lol.
I’ve also been using it to set my liquid liner on top lash line and it does help keep the color from fading. I’ve had some liquid liners set “glossy” which I don’t like because it makes your liner look off and uneven under bright light or flash photography. this powder liner sets over the liquid liners and counteracts the glossiness while helping it last longer!
Overall, five lippies from me. I find it very versatile if you’re patient enough to work with it and I would definitely repurchase.

This eyeliner messes up your entire face!
I generally like NYX cosmetics and so this eyeliner caught my attention in the store. The tester will give you a sooty, deep black line on the back of your hand. You will like this on the back of your hand and will be convinced to buy it. Don’t do it!
At home, I tried lining my upper eyelids with the doe-foot brush. SERIOUS fallout: I ended up with black soot on my cheeks. I thought I could sweep the black away with a large makeup brush. WRONG. Sweeping it away just produced black streaks all over my BB-creamed cheeks! I had to use a tissue to wipe off both my cheeks. The remaining black powder on my upper eyelids eventually fell onto my face later. My sink was covered in black dots.
This is a WASTE of your precious time. You do not want to do your BB cream twice plus clean your sink. Had to post this to warn others. I’m returning this completely not usable eyeliner!

I really wanted to like this, the color was beautiful (dark brown). I love many of their products. I tried several different types of applications (primer/no primer, with different type of brush, etc.) Each time it flaked and smudged all around my eyes, and was very difficult to remove. I looked like I got punched out! It was also just very messy in general. Seemed like a great idea, but not for me.

I LOVE THIS EYELINER. my normal physicians formula eye booster pen thingy was not applying well anymore (dry and steamy) so off I went to buy another one. I see NYX has 20% off and this caught my eye as sometimes I find the PF too harsh. A powder eyeliner seemed like just what I wanted. It has a tip almost like a sponge but its thin so you can be precise. Its dark and stayed on the whole day for me. And I didn’t get any fallout as mentioned below but maybe that’s a fluke. I got the brown and the black at London Drugs here in western Canada for abt $6 with the discount. Totally worth it.

I’m with Allisfaith here. I LOVE this eyeliner. Revlon used to have something similar in their Bedroom Eyes collection, which has been discontinued. I recently got two of those from a website that sells discontinued MU.
I saw this on my last trip to ULTA and I decided to give it a try. Better than the Revlon one in that the NYX applicator is smaller and more user-friendly. Lovely dark brown color. I tap the applicator before I use it because since it’s loose powder OF COURSE there is bound to be fall out. For me it’s no problem because I always do my foundation after I do my eyes, so if there is fall out of any kind I can always wipe it off. Anyway, I apply this carefully over my eyeliner (pencil), and do a small > on the outer corner, and then I buff it all with a brush. Instant smokey eye. It takes a bit of learning, but the result is SO lovely. I do recommend it.

This product gives a lovely soft look, which I like. However, I would never repurchase it because the liner’s way too much of a hassle to apply and makes a mess all over the sink. One does indeed need to apply this loose powder liner before using concealer or foundation but even if you’ve used any moisturizer on your face or eye area the falling powder also catches on these areas and it’s hard to clean up.
Maybe a different applicator would make his liner more user-friendly. The one included is a sponge doe’s foot

I can’t believe no one has reviewed this product yet! The NYX powder liner in black or brown from the Collectiion Noir is the best! I picked up the black one first on a whim and loved it! I am someone who is still perfecting my technique for applying makeup and this makes it super easy and fast. This is the first time I’ve been successful creating a beautiful cat eye look with minimal effort. It goes on already blended out, so you save some time there. It stays put as well. It’s not just shadow, it creates a dark line. Just swipe and done. It’s very forgiving.
Word of caution, there is TERRIBLE fall out. It will ruin your foundation makeup if you put that on first. I have to hold a tissue under your eye to catch the excess because if you try and wipe it away, you’ll end up with stripes across your cheek! Just FYI. But it’s worth it for the ease of use and the end result is beautiful!
