This is yet another great Garnier product! I picked this up in an after Xmas sale, it came in a holiday set along with the coconut mask (I haven’t tried that yet). The last couple of winters have created crazy static in my hair, and this product really did the trick! I don’t normally use hair masks, because they really weigh my hair down and I just don’t need extra moisture in my hair normally. This felt like a great balance between a conditioner and heavy mask – it was lighter and slightly thinner than some masks I’ve tried long ago, but it really added the moisture back into my hair that I needed. I love that it can be used as a leave in, and used it this way on a few occasions. I enjoyed that this was not heavy and I didn’t experience any flaking or other adverse reactions. My hair wasn’t overly weighed down by it, but I also tried to mainly use it on the lower half of my hair.
I would look to this product again come wintertime. It did exactly what I wanted, and the price is right. I like the scent too, it is sort of avocado but perfumey – similar to other Garnier scents. It didn’t leave a strong scent behind in my hair which was great.

The only negative to this stuff (other than price, but I bought it on sale) is the overpoweringly strong perfumey scent. Whoa Nellie, this stuff is STRONG. And it’s not a scent I enjoy anyway–it smells kind of like a floral scented candle from Bath and Body Works. But it works like a hot damn on my dry hair. I used it, rinsed most of it out and let it air dry, and it dried into lovely waves and ringlets (I have 2b hair). Honestly, when I use it, my hair is the nicest it’s looked for ages. I said I’d buy it again, but I’d have to seriously think about whether I could put up with the scent. And I say this as someone who uses the admittedly unsubtle OI Oil every day.

I was skeptical about this at first, but my hair has been so relentless dry lately and I was desperate to try anything that might bring my moisturized curls back. I have 3b/3c/4a curls, so certain products and brands may not work for my hair, and Garnier is one of them (or so I thought).
I saw a review of this product by one of my favorite YouTubers and was amazed at how happy, shiny, and poppin’ her curls were, so I decided to give it a try. It has 98% naturally-derived ingredients (tells you where they all come from too, nice!), no silicones, and any of the ingredients that might be of concern for a curly-girl are in such small amounts that they can’t pose too much harm to the hair.
This product has revived my curls, a true miracle! My hair is shiny, well-moisturized, defined, and it definitely lasts a lot longer in harsh, humid conditions that normally dry out my hair. You can use it as a deep conditioner, a leave-in conditioner, or a rinse-out conditioner. I benefit the most from using it as a deep conditioner/leave-in, I hate to use this as a rinse-out as I feel like doing that just takes it away from my hair. I think I love it the most as a leave-in for certain. Thick, moisturizing, soaks into my hair well, and does not wind up flaking or gumming up when it comes in contact with other products like gels.
Not only does it do all that, but it smells really good and has narrowed down my product use significantly!
I’m excited to keep using this product and to see if it can continue to keep my curls happy! I definitely recommend giving this product a try! It was money well-spent for me, and it’s so much more affordable than a lot of the products in natural-hair brands like Camille Rose Naturals, Shea Moisture, etc.

I use this as a leave-in, and it works great for me. Yeah, it’s a small container, but it was almost free with coupons at CVS. Smells great, too. Will definitely repurchase.

Needed a mask to use after my once a week Neutrogena Clarifying Shampoo & decided on this drugstore option since it was very affordable & didn’t seem to have ingredients that would weigh my short hair down. It literally makes my super frizz prone hair very smooth & so easy to comb out in & out of the shower. Can’t beat it.

I saw an ad for this in a magazine but was stunned when I got to the store and saw how small this container was ( 3.4 oz). Has a perfumey scent. I bought this because it has glycerin, shea butter, olive oil, sunflower oil and a pinch of avocado oil in it. This leaves my fine hair feeling limp and weighed down.
