This is genius! It’s a thin, reusable silicone face mask that you put on top of a sheet mask (or even on top of a cream mask) to keep the moisture in so you can wear the mask longer without it drying out. It also allows you to move around without the sheet mask falling off. I wore my Hada Labo 3D sheet mask for a full hour with this Daiso mask on top, and when I took it off, it was still full of essence like it was brand new. My skin was incredibly moist. These are very inexpensive — mine was less than $5 — and they add a lot of value if you like sheet masks.

Gravity and evaporation are a lotion/sheet mask’s worst enemy. But no more!
I actually got it delivered a day sooner than I thought I would so of course I was eager to try it out. I follow the Saeki lotion mask method using HadaLabo Shirojyun lotion and Selena Multi-Layer cotton pads. Here, I’m doing the lotion mask & using eye patches. The patches require at least 15-20 minutes so now I can take the cotton squares and patches off at the same time. I left it on for almost 30 minutes while I watched TV, had a drink, and just chilled for the evening.
After taking it off my face felt very hydrated. Normally, it would go back to feeling “regular” again after about 15 minutes. Still an hour later, my face still feels freshly washed & moisturized. I keep touching it, I gotta stop! Lol
This is a game-changer because the lotion mask and cotton squares are already amazing enough, but with this tool, you actually are maximizing the effect of your lotion of choice.
