I love this mascara! It’s super wet and super inky black. The wand deposits a flip load of product and builds dramatic stripper lashes with just a few swipes. It can clump and transfer slightly during application so you have to be careful but it never transfers or smudges once it’s applied. It’s also often on sale for £3.99. Love!

I bought this mascara because it’s Kathleen Lights’ holy grail drugstore mascara, and I had such high hopes, but it did not live up to the hype for me. Yes, it gives massive volume and a true ‘false lash’ effect without clumping, but it flakes so bad and smears under my eyes!! Interestingly enough, it is not a wet formula and I powdered my undereye concealer to prevent any black dotting, and it nevertheless gave me panda eyes every time I wore it. On top of that it dried out within less than 3 months, which how often mascaras should be changed, and the price is a bit high for a drugstore product. The colossal volume you can get with this mascara is just not worth the smudging and smearing! I would recommend getting Maybelline mascaras, which are half the price and you can get the same big lashes without the trouble.
