   I love the Stem Cellular Moisturizer which I use during cooler weather and figured why not layer it over the matching serum for even better results? This is a medium gel consistency serum that’s full of botanicals and organic ingredients – something I really admire about this brand. It’s quite a watery texture though, once you apply and start to massage in, somehow the texture transforms…and then once applied it vanishes into my skin completely. Stickiness or tacky after-feel? None whatsoever! The ingredients are actually not too dissimilar to the aformentioned face cream but more concentrated so you’re getting all the organic goodness in a concentrated form. It doesn’t contain fragrance (other than essential oils) and yet it still manages to have a very faint, sweet citrusy aroma.

   As far as serums go it’s a good one…it makes my skin tone brighter and more glowing, which is something I noticed within the 1st week of applying this AM & PM before the moisturizer. Although I don’t really have many fine lines, and thankfully no wrinkles yet, it’s still good to know I am helping to keep them at bay by using good quality products such as this. Although I’ve read reviews from people online who say this serum completely transformed their face and got rid of wrinkles within weeks, I very much have my doubts, and not only because not even Retinol – the gold standard ingredient for anti-aging can do that, but because from an ingredients perspective their really isn’t anything in here that can reverse aging, at least not in such a short period of time. As a preventitive however with its strong antioxidant content, and for its temporary skin plumping benefits (due to Hyaluronic Acid) this serum is as good as they get, albeit slightly pricey for what it is at 80 dollars. I’m definitely gonna keep an eye out for any offers on this so I can snap up the 1 oz full size version.
