This is a really wet messy mascara

This was discounted when I bought it, so I feel slightly less bad about wasting my money. Anyways: this has a rubberized spiral brush, meaning: the bristles aren’t evenly spaced out. This adds absolutely nothing to the functionality IMO, and makes the wand more annoying to use.
The formula is very black… and that’s about where the positives end for me. The formula is slightly difficult to work with as it dries fairly fast, and I like to apply two layers of mascara, as my lashes are thin and sparse. The formula feels like a tubing mascara, but it isn’t: tubing mascaras are easy to remove, while this isn’t. It dries very stiff and crusty, which can sometimes feel slightly uncomfortable to my eyes – and I’ve worn mascara almost every day for over 10 years now. Finally: this FLAKES! I had A LOT of small black specks at the end of my work day. They were under my eyes, over my eyes, on my nose and cheeks, and even above my lip. A couple of them were smeared, as they had fallen down onto my face, and I must’ve somehow dragged a finger across it. Honestly, the only reason I don’t give this mascara 1* is because that rating is reserves for mascaras that make my eyes irritated

The messiest mascara of all time. The twisted spiky plastic brush + wet formula that gets messy mascara all over my upper lids and actually flicks globs into my eyeballs and onto the top of cheeks. Then I have to clean up, remove bits from the inside of my eyes ect. Who thought this up? The formula is wet but thick, gorgeous intense black shade, gives average volume and no length, coats lashes easily, holds a curl.

The absolute best mascara. The brush is unbelievable. I will continue to buy this for as long as it is still on the shelves. I have naturally very long eyelashes but this stuff almost makes them look like I’m wearing falsies. It’s a bit more expensive than your typical drug store mascara but it is soooo worth it.

This is terrible. It clumps it’s heavy and in ten minutes it was like I had raccoon eyes. Maybe the worst mascara I’ve ever used. I couldn’t wait to get it off. Would not buy or use again. Total failure for me. I usually use the tarte in the good tube. Back to that I think.

Terrible mascara. Just colors mascara, doesn’t coat or thicken.

Only aspect of this mascara that I liked was the brush applicator. Great for precise application of the mascara. Everything else was lacking. Formula is so-so. Promising black color. However it flakes, flakes, flakes. By the end of my work day, I have black specks under my eyes. Packaging looks “cheap” and feels cheap.

I’m a big fan of little mascara brushes–the small, rigid plastic wands are great for hooded lids (the big, fat brushes get mascara all over my eyelids). This product comes in a rich, dark color, and the brush allows for build-able, precise application. The price is good, too. I do wish that the mascara itself was a bit better–it’s about average in terms of longevity and feel. It’s a step up from drugstore products, for sure, but not at the level of moderate-to-high-end mascaras. Definitely not a fan of the tube (magenta and silver–just looks cheap). I would buy it again for the brush and price. Pros: small, hard-bristle brush, dark color, price. Cons: Meh formula, garish Barbie-esque packaging.

MY EYES: Hooded, deep-set, oily lids.
THIS MASCARA: Flake-smears off into crumbly circles under my eyes by the end of the day. Pass.

I hate this !! It’s way too wet, doesn’t separate lashes and makes your lashes looks so underwhelming, even after several coats and a long time spent on the lashes with the mascara. just a big fail. Not worth the money, there’s other drugstore and highend mascaras that are way better than this
