Surf Spray is a part of Revlon’s Parfumerie range. I am not sure of the exact scent of this polish, but it’s not unpleasant and you can still smell it if you use a topcoat. Personally, I find the whole scented idea gimmicky and unnecessary, but each to their own.
The polish itself is a bright blue, shimmer polish. It is incredibly sheer – I needed 5!!!! coats to build up the opacity. Needless to say that it took ages to dry and I woke up with sheer marks and small dents in the polish. I have seen a blogger online, who applied a couple of coats of Surf Spray over black cream polish. The only reason I haven’t purged it yet is because I like the colour/finish, so I want to try it as a topper. Not sure if would use black as a base as I would be worried that I might not cover it sufficiently, but a light blue base (similar colour) might work.
