I don’t understand why this color doesn’t get a higher rating. It is far from boring. It’s a gorgeous mauve with a subtle, glossy shimmer that works for all seasons and for all skin tones, IMO. I have medium warm-toned, yellow-orange skin and usually avoid anything in the purple family but, for some reason, this works. Suitable for an office setting as well as everywhere else. I get compliments every time I wear it. EDIT: Good thing about it too, you can pick up a bottle at a reasonable price. I don’t believe it is discontinued.

OPI’s Not So Bora Bora-ing Pink is a beautiful mid range muted dusty rose with a shimmer.
Some people call it “old lady” but I think of it as Retro, elegant and not trendy. It’s not harsh and goes beautifully with a summer wardrobe and a suntanned skin. It looks beautiful with summer dark colors also- wines, grays, blues, greens and lighter colors such as peach, lilacs, etc. Thank goodness for a pink that’s not cotton candy, neon or Barbie pink.
This is my favorite OPI formula, the new colors in the OPI line have given me a fit with bad consistency, streaking, chipping.
It’s fairly thick, but has the necessary liquidity. It self levels, has great opacity.
It goes on smoothly, one coat covers but I use two coats and a top coat of Seche Vite. The effect is glossy and rock hard.
The brush is outstanding, somewhat thicker than the newer brushes.
I’m preferring this over the nudes/whites and screaming summer shades right now.

OPI’s Not So Bora Bora-ing Pink is a shimmery muted dusty rose/mauve pink. On my fair skin with yellow undertones this leans more dusty rose. It came across as a very “mature” color (even though I would be considered mature, this is too “mature” LOL!) and tended to give my hands that lobster hands/dishwater cuticles effect (not a good look!). This was a newer bottle and I’m not sure if OPI has changed the formula as I wore this years and years ago when it first came out and it was not quite so saturated 1980s dusty rose and a little lighter pink. On the plus side the formula was good with total opacity in two coats and rock hard and super shiny with Seche Vite in 20 minutes. I’ve given this color two tries in the past few months and didn’t like it on me either time so I’m giving this on a pass but YMMV.

This is a pretty pink, one coat gives a mauve tinged iridescent sheen, two coats gives you more of the deeper dusty rose color, but it’s still fairly sheer. This is a great color for the spring and summer, hides tip chips well. Maybe I have an older formula (I’ve had it for years) or I need to apply a lot more coats, but it never looks as opaque as the photo that was added by a MUAer. My only complaint is it makes my nail tips, which generally are very white, look dingy. I’m not skilled enough to give myself a French manicure to avoid this so I’ll just live with it.
After wearing it all day, I’ve decided I dont love it because I’m fairly pale with pink undertones and this just washes out my hands and looks almost nude on me. It’s a pretty color but I need to go paler or darker, this hits the sweet spot of erasing my nails from my hands, kinda creepy.

Probably my favorite “pink” nail polish, I found this OPI color totally by accident and could not believe how pretty it was when applied. It has a beautiful reflective quality to it that almost makes it have a pearl like sheen. I have a fair complexion and have always had long nails that I more or less do myself and find that certain colors compliment me more than others. This is just a perfect pink for me.

I see a little orange in the color and it looks best on me when my tan is going well. It lasts pretty well when I use OPI basecoat, but even with a top coat (I like Seche Tres Vite) it seems to darken on my fingers in a few days, but not on my toes. This is my standard toe color, after being hooked on Orly’s Raspberry Ice for a long time.

This polish is a sweet mauve-pink, and what my sister refers to as ‘old lady’ pink, which might not please some people, but as someone who loves ‘old lady’ shades, makes for my favorite pink nailpolish.

No, this is not for me. In the bottle it seemed nice, somewhere between pink and fushia, but on my nails, it just does not compliment me at all. I just can’t get away with it, but can’t really explain why not. Maybe because this is a really ‘dirt’ pinkish color and that does not work with my pale, cool toned skin? I don’t know, it just did not work.

This is one of my favorite summer/spring polishes! I love my pinks and lighter colors during the warmer months and I always go back to this one at least a couple of times. Like another reviewer said, it’s such a great pink without being too pink, bubblegum, or girly (if that makes sense). Love it!

My HG pink/rose nailpolish, looks very nice on my pale skin. Very safe colour to wear anytime, not girlish pink. Nice creamy rose nailpolish with a hint of metallic on the nails. It gets totally opaque in two coats. Good staying power, and very easy to apply with its pro-wide brush. Will defintly buy again. I hope it won’t be discontinued any time soon.
