   With 5% lettuce extract and 5% cucumber extract this sounded like a vitamin & goodness-packed dream-come-true for the face…except it really isn’t! Firstly it’s very strongly perfumed, and not of anything natural either, this is of the pure artificial sweet perfume variety. I actually went and purchased the full size in this as Skinfood products are pretty cheap online and you end up spending almost the same as what you would for samples so may aswell. I’m not sure what it is in .oz but 140ml is the only thing in English on the back of the bottle, from which I’ve probably used just 5ml. I stopped using it because it is way over fragranced and breaks me out in a rash everytime I apply it. I wondered if it might be the alcohol or silicones but I doubt that as they’re way down on the list of ingredients and I usually only break out if they’re near the top. Lovely yet simple (and heavy) glass bottle packaging but that’s about the only thing I liked about this. Probably better for skin types similar to mine (combination/oily) that don’t react to overly fragranced skincare, as it’s fairly hydrating yet light, even when used on its own. The Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Cream which I purchased together with this fared a bit better than the emulsion but I’ll write up on my experience with that one separately.
