My biggest skin concerns are dryness and sensitivity with warmer weather starting I was looking for a daily moisturizer that lighter than the oils I use in colder months. I purchased this at a local Korean cosmetics shop at the advice of the sales associate. I’ve been using this for about a week, and so far I am mostly pleased. It’s a fairly lightweight cream almost lotion like texture and mild fragrance. I pat this into my skin twice a day, once before bed, then again in the morning as a part of my morning skin care routine. This is just a bit sticky after being applied and can take a few minutes to fully absorb. It’s done an excellent job of keeping my skin looking soft, plump, and hydrated and has not clogged my pores

My skin type: Dehydrated combination skin, cheeks area feel tight but t zone is oily
Review:
Texture and scent:
The texture of the product is light for a cream, resembling more of a gel-cream. It glides onto skin easily and takes a short while to absorb into skin. The scent of the cream is a bit strong and can be off putting to some, I personally got used to the smell and was alright with it.
Effects:
My skin did feel moisturised after using the product, but unfortunately the product was a bit too rich for me. There are comodegnic elements in the product such as Cocoa Seed Butter, so acne prone individuals should be careful. I broke out after using this product on my checks and forehead areas. I do think that this cream is misleading in the way it is branded since it is labelled as ‘balancing’. I felt that the cream had rich elements and is a good light textured cream for those with normal or drier skin types who is not acne prone.
Packaging:
It is a jar type packaging, which I personally find is a hassle. I would have preferred a more hygienic option that would not need the trouble of using a spatula. Even when using a spatula, it is easy for the entire jar of product to get contaminated with germs or bacteria that could lead to acne among more acne prone or younger skin. I would caution against jar packaging.
Summary:
+ Moisturising enough for drier skin types
+ Light texture, easy to apply and absorb
+ Relaively affordable
– Too rich for combination skin types which is acne prone
– Scent can be too strong
– Misleading branding (not very “balancing”)
– Jar packaging which is unhygienic
Overall more cons than pros, even if it is suitable for your skin type, there are better options available.

Unfortunately, my skin didn’t like it. It was too heavy or had some nasty ingredients and broke me out. Otherwise, it’s a very nice cream, light, refreshing, hydrating and non-sticky. Just not for acne-prone ladies like me.

A moisturizing cream with a nice scent. Gave me a shiny face, but did its job well without clogging pores. I need something lighter for my oily combination skin.

This product worked quite well on my face as I’ve combination skin, so I would actually advise and prefer some face cream before I put up any make up. Surprisingly it did moisture my face well and leave a fresh skin after whole day. It is not expensive as the price is around RM60, and I would prefer this as this is much more cheaper than what I previously used which is kiehl, that gave me the same result yet an even expensive price!

This is a surprisingly great product. This cream has a very light whipped texture, making it slightly more heavy than a typical gel-cream. It provides a perfect amount of moisture for my combination skin, but if you have truly oily skin, you may want to pass this one and go for the green tea “fresh” cream. The smell is definitely herbal, but I find it not obtrusive and quite pleasant. For those of you worried about potential pore-blocking ingredients (cocoa seed butter), this has caused zero problems for my very sensitive skin.
My only gripe is the jar packaging which is not the most hygienic, but I use a q-tip to scoop out the product to keep it clean. Overall, I highly recommend this product year-round for people with combination skin.
