   I have a lot of hair. It is long too. Lots of hair fall out and my hair grows very fast. I color my hair every two weeks. I had dealt with frizz and damage most of my life. I have tried a long list of drugstore and high end products and a few helped but then they stopped working. Curling and flat iron usage also made my hair worse. So I used this when it was sold in Target and I was in shock. No hair fall out; no frizz; no damage; no bad hair days; and most importantly, no more reaching out to irons to make my hair presentable. This product has changed my life by far. My hair is as healthy as it can be. It is hard to find but the best source is the manufacturer’s website. It can be used on wet and dry hair. It is truly a treatment beyond belief.

   I read many reviews on this product before I bought it. I actually thought that I may not like it because my hair acts very weird to the products that contain silicone. To my surprise, this product feels like pure oil but not as greasy. The product gets absorbed quickly and without any trace. I use this in many ways. I mixed a small amount with my hair color. I use this on wet hair before drying it with a blow dryer and when I am using curling iron. My hair has never been silkier. Overall, considering that Garnier had taken away a couple of similar products off the shelves, I am glad that they came back with a great product like this. One big warning is that the company does not claim that this product is a heat protectant but I have been using it with curling iron and have not seen any damage or discoloration.

   I am always on the hunt for a product that will tame frizzies and nourish my hair to give it that silky soft feel and shine that I envy so much and this product delivers on all of these traits. I actually bought this on a whim after picking up one of the hair masks and am I ever glad I snagged it up. This oil is not as strongly scented as other coconut based products I’ve used but I still enjoy the scent of it while applying to my hair, it really doesn’t linger once you’ve applied it. What is more important is the way it makes my 2c/3a wavy/curly hair feel. The texture is greatly improved when I use this oil and my hair has a nice shine to it, which most curly girls will tell you is not easily accomplished. In fact, I couldn’t stop touching my hair after using this the first time because I was so shocked at how my hair didn’t feel dry like straw, which happens more than I like. I did not experience any buildup of residue and I used more than the dime sized amount recommended on the bottle. My hair reaches about mid-back, is of medium thickness and I have a lot of it. I used about 4-5 pumps when my hair was damp and another 4-5 pumps when my hair was fully dry. I think you will have to play with the amount depending on your hair’s porosity which is extremely important when considering what products to put on your hair.
